Those guns are absolutely beautiful. Far and away the prettiest weapons I've ever seen in any Fallout game (which admittedly is only FO3 plus a few days spent here picking mods for my first ever playthough of FNV). Nicer than most other games, full stop. Sleek, elegant, shiny, but very obviously weapons.

I've not even installed the mod but you've already got my thumbs up. That's how lovely it is.

I think I'm going to take the projectile FX from your Assault Blaster mod (which is also lovely) and combine them with the weapon models from this mod into a new mod. A semi-auto light pistol shooting red bolts and a fully auto carbine shooting blue bolts would go down wonderfully.

I love these! Bit zoomed in when iron sighting and I wish the SW one had a non-scoped version but this is definitely what a laser feels like, to me. Like said before its very on cue to what we might actually expect laser weapons to at least look like!

these setting and the mods are what are need to get the reload animation working if you don't down load the animation mod it will still have the right reload but you will go from holding it 2 with handed to firing 1 handed

The weapon design is very reminiscent of Luke Campbell's laser weapons at Atomic Rockets, an actual laser scientist. http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/sidearmenergy.php#lukebattlelaser
This has to be most realistic laser weapon in all of fallout while also being really nice to use in actual combat,
    overall a well done mod!

In my personal opinion, considering that most weapons are produced with the sole extent of them being used in combat, i would say that if they designed a laser rifle in the 50's it wouldn't be sleek and shiny and made out of brushed aluminium, it would be painted dull black, with a frame made from cheap stamped steel. No shine, no fancy gimmicks just black stamped steel, with wooden furniture or a steel wire stock, simple, cheap, crude, rugged, effective and absolutely reliable. Especially the shiny finish on this would be a bad idea, weapons were often painted black solely because they didn't want them to stand out, not that i don't like your design, but i read your description and i tought i'd give my opinion on what a ''realistic'' laser rifle would look like. This thing does fit the 50's scifi theme well tho, but compared to the original design it's a bit too fancy considering most weapons that were made for a military purpose were and still are and will always be dull looking and everything but sleek since that's one of the things they never need to be, it just needs to be compact, not much more.

TBH, Cold war guns were dull dark color because they were parkerized steel which is the cheapest way of making something resistant to rust. Unless they were made of stainless steeel. Then they were shiny gray. Or unless nobody even bothered to parkerise them. Then they were just raw steel gray.

Very nice, much appreciated and needed energy weapons. Had zero problems, big fan of the whole package, how they fire the multiple configurations and the sight picture is great with or without the scope.

I think you should rename this "Butch DeLorea : The Incredibly Quickly Deteriorating Corpse."
Nice mod, by the way, and I like that it still fits the 1950's theme, despite not fitting Fallout's '50's envisioned sci-fi apocalypse' theme. Good job, and nice FO3 reference!

Hi Moraelin, how are you. I was wondering if you could port these guns into Fallout 4. Maybe you could use these models to replace the institute weapons. Just a thought. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Heads up, the new version is here, bringing it on par with the 1.07 for FO3. What the new version does is:

Finally ported over the LSW (think: laser Bozar) from the FO3 version of the mod
Added them to those lists by script, so it should always work
Added them to IMPROVED holdout weapons too
Added them to the items the Van Graffs sell
