   love it, and thanks. wanted the loading screen replaced with either nothing or something else for some time

   This is an interesting concept, definitely adds to immersion.
   
   I currently have all the load captions as random and somewhat famous quotes. Along with the upgraded pictures from another mod.
   
   But, strange as it sounds, deleting it all for a blank background is actually really tempting in my opinion.

   No, no it won't. But it will make the loading screens black, which will make loading feel longer.
