Changelogs
Version 4.0
New, improved version with a playable .esp
Moved the file to Weapons Category because it can be played now
Changed the name, so it will appear when searching for the word "Sword" in the title
This file includes the mesh, textures and icons for my "Cavalry Sabre", based on the british 1796 light cavalry sabre, for use in Fallout: New Vegas. This file includes a playable .esp (plugin file). In it, the sword is an excellent weapon (like the real sword it's based on, which reportedly could sever arms with a single blow, and split a brass helmet along with the skull beneath it) but it's not "godlike". You can find the sword in the open grave in Goodsprings Cemetery. One more thing: since it's a truly unique weapon (and there are no similar weapons to repair it with), the sword can be repaired with "Whet Stones" (which are sharpening tools).
However, please note that the plugin file was only added as a sample, and as a starting point to make modding easier, so anyone with basic knowledge of the G.E.C.K. can open the Editor ID "WeapUniqueCavalrySabre" and change the weapon's name, damage, cost, etc. to suit their own personal tastes, so for all intents and purposes, this is a modder's resource.
