Thank you for making this mod, I never liked jamming while reloading, If I'm reloading 9 times out of 10 I'm in a safe spot so it makes little difference but the quality of my weapons being a concern while actively firing is a much better story. also realistically weapons jam when they cycle not when you reload them. Or well, if the weapon isn't made by SIG it doesn't jam when you reload it.
I honestly have no idea why you would adore fallout 3 style of Repair? even when i was a console peasant that was the one issue with Fallout 3 as any weapon not 95% repaired might as well be 5% repaired. I think the mod creator should of played with dirty rusty guns instead of making this.
I wonder if anyone made a mod that puts all weapon at 74% condition and cap it.
Simple, because FNV's way makes repair skill basically irrelevant for actually repairing items, since with enough parts anyone can get an item to that coveted max condition quite easily. In FNV the repair skill is only worth investing in for the perks (like Hand Loader or Jury Rigging), since you don't really need it for anything else.
I was slightly hesitant to install this just because its like 12 years old but this is reassuring. I use that setting as well and was hoping they would go together. Thank you!
Can you make a version that jams at 100% durability AND removes reload jamming? I use mods to remove durability drain because that mechanic is garbage, but would enjoy the jamming for shots only
You can easily replace this mod with a simple NVSE GameSetting ini tweak file. It just changes game settings, nothing else. https://geckwiki.com/index.php?title=Complete_List_of_GameSettings Search "jam".
I just wanted to leave a massive thank you for sharing this mod! It's been over a decade and this mod still continues to feel absolutely essential to a good, more survival-based playthrough!

Being based on NV, pretty sure TTW uses the same game settings for this.
