For those like me that wanted the Lucky 38 quick access but not the icons (since the default version already includes them), you can do the following: extract the ZIP, remove the "textures" folder, repackage just the esp as ZIP, and install that with your favourite mod manager. Cheers
This was the first thing I was going to test, but I wasn't sure if it would somehow break the mod or maybe the fast travel icon to Lucky 38, so thanks for the post.
To the author of this mod, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to create this mod, it's very convenient and is one of those things that should have been in the base game. But you shouldn't have put the changed icons in the default, main version of the mod and instead made it an optional download. Thankfully, it's an easy fix.
I know this mod is pretty old at this point, so you probably won't check this, but thanks for the mod, it's one of those little changes that makes a huge difference in convenience.

If you had cooking installed first, Faster Access doesn't seem to work.
1. disable Lucky 38 Cooking 2. load a save; Lucky 38 location is now discoverable, Faster Access works as intended 3. make a new save (just in case) 4. enable Lucky 38 Cooking, now both mods work as intended.
Hello, this mod sounds amazing. Someone in the comments mentions a possible compatibility issue with YUP-- is this indeed the case? Also if I want to use the following mod as well, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44989/, I should just have it overwrite this one right?
I have used this mod for years. I usually have just disabled it during the first visit to the 38 because of the door bug, but for the last playthrough I went looking for fixes instead and surprise, you actually took the time to fix such an "old" mod. I appreciate dedicated people like you so much, thank you!
Edit: My experience: when player yet don't have access to Lucky38, having this mod installed will prevent player to enter Lucky38 building (i.e: following viktor to meet mr house). So work around at the moment - disable this mod - meet house & gain access - then enable mod. Is this the intended procedure? or just bug on my installation?
Not sure if you still need it but here is a quicksave. I have The Strip Open installed and Victor is beside the 38, on the steps facing the monorail station. I just tcl'd past the shutters when trying to find the problem. While your mod is active nothing happens when I click the doors, disabling the mod allows me to enter and when I reenable everything functions as intended.

I checked and thats not the door the script is supposed to affect.
So, there is an outer door and an inner door.
In the story line at some point the outer door is being removed by the game. The script I modified controlls the inner door. It just decides where to port you to. (To Mr. House in case you didn't speak to him yet or directly into the suite.)
@all However, I found the issue with the inner door. I'll update the mod soon.
Since NVR doesn't seems to be updated any longer I fixed the conflict with that mod by adding a new condition to ensure the teleport only happens if the script is attached to the Lucky 38 door base object.
Fixed the cell name from "Der Strip" to "The Strip" like SincipleII suggested.
@SincipleII Thank you for the cue. Not really a bug (this happens due to localisation) but yeah, kind of annoying. I didn't noticed and changed that. Thanks again, kudos.
Possible bug report. I’m playing the English version and since installing your mod, I’m getting “Der Strip” while walking the Strip. Great mod by the way, simple and stable. Just what I was looking for quickly getting in and out my home base.
