    If you had the issue of Ulysses turning white, like I did, try going into Fallout.ini and Fallout_Default.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini.

    Change:

    bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=0

    to

    bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1

    Hopefully that should fix it :D

    Really wish this was somehow compatible with the Character Kit Remake. It’s a shame it probably isn’t since support for it dropped years ago.

    So for those who are curious about how you get around the issue with Ulysses' mask/hair, you'll want to open up FNVEdit then open the mod's esm file, then open the file in the armor section. Next look at the Biped flags (where the hair, hat, glasses, etc are located) and then change it from "hat" to "hair"; and then change the editor ID to something more appropriate like "Ulysses' Dreads" or something like that; you'll also want to change the item's stats in DATA so that you don't accidentally over-buff Ulysees, so change all those armor stats and such to 0.000000/0 but leave the health at 100 (the health is for the item condition of the hair).

    After you've done all that, open up Non-Player character and select the file for Ulysees'. After you've opened the file, scroll down to Items (sorted) and then right click on the box next to the Items (sorted) column and click "Add". Once you've done this, click on the line that says: "NULL - Null Reference" and change it to: "NVDLC04HelmetBreathingMaskUnique "Ulysses' Mask" [ARMO:0400CEEC]" and afterwards set "Count" to "1" This adds Ulysees' mask to his inventory. Finally make sure to click on the column next to: "COED - Extra data" and set the item condition to: "1.000000".

    Now open the game and load an autosave (As when I tried loading a manual one, it didn't work for some reason) and Ulysees' should have his hair, mask and new face!

      I tried changing the "NULL - Null Reference"  to "NVDLC04HelmetBreathingMaskUnique "Ulysses' Mask" [ARMO:0400CEEC]" but it shows "Load order FiledID [04] can not be mapped to file FileID for file "LonesomeRoad.esm"" or "TOTLRU Replacer" (or something like that), soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, whado i do ?

      I took a quick look at google. It appears the problem could possibly be because your load order is in the wrong order (i.e. TOTLRU Replacer is above the dlc mod when the base game files and dlcs need to be above everything else) or it could also be because you may have rewritten the wrong line by mistake, as there are multiple Null References.

      I'd recommend taking another look at FNVEdit just to check that you edited the right file. The one you want is in: Item --> CNTO - Item --> Item. It's easier than you'd think to accidentally edit the wrong file. If it turns out you have just switch them around. Otherwise I'd just delete and reinstall the mod and do the same thing again. Should hopefully fix it.

      Sorry it took this long to respond, haven't been on here for a long while.

    I've read the instructions to make this mod work with the Ulysses Companion Mod, but I don't get what it means by "drag it into the companion mod" because FNVEdit doesn't seem to let me drag those files into the Companion mod at all. I would really like to use this mod with the companion mod, but I just can't "drag" those files into the companion mod at all, no matter what I do. Any better ideas?

    Edit: Never mind, I found out how. Jesus Christ, I'm such a noob. XD

    Edit 2: Okay, so I got it working. The vanilla lines that Ulysses says has the lip-sync working perfectly, but the Ulysses Companion mod's custom lines do not have a lip sync that works. It's kind of disturbing to watch Ulysses speak without his mouth moving.

    Edit 3: Also... After following the instructions precisely, some of Ulysses' dialogue for the companion mod also disappeared. :/

      @ Edit 2: Any custom dialogue created by the Ulysses Companion mod author won't have lip syncing because of the original masked face, so he wouldn't of had to add it.

      @ Edit 3: None of the instructions I put down touch the Ulysses Companion mod's dialogue, so any issue on that part is possibly a load order issue or a conflict with another mod.

    His body changes, but his head still has the mask on. So the mod works, but I can't get his mask off.

    Followed the author's instructions on how to make it compatible with CCO Ulysses.

    Followed the user's post (below me) instructions.

    I've archive invalidated.

    The master file is below Lonesome Road.

    But I still can't get the mask off ;-;

    EDIT: I can only get the mask off through removing it from his inventory. His face shows up, but the dreads are gone. I tried the trick a few pages back of copy/pasting the UlyssesDreads file and renaming it to ulysses_maskface.nif and plopping it into Ulysses's NVDLC04 folder. If anybody knows how to get the dreads back on, that'd be great.

      You can edit his equipped items with FNVEdit, it allows to to edit,change,remove anything you don't want. Just look for his mask item in the mod's esm and make the changes you want.

    You don't really have to write down "bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1" in your .ini file for this mod to take effect. There's an alternative way to generate Ulysses' face texture, called Export NPC Face Textures.

    All you need to is create a folder called "TOUTUlysses.esm" under Data\Textures\Characters\FaceMods and open up GECK, load TOUTUlysses.esm as an active plugin, select Ulysses from Non-player character category and press Ctrl + F4. Wait for the message that says "Done", and you're good to go.

    If you happen to have installed this with Mod Organizer, make sure to create those folders inside the mod's file tree, not the Data file inside your main Fallout New Vegas folder.

    works perfectly, thank you very much!
    I'm doing a new run as Ulysses and this mod makes me possible to enjoy it pretty much!
    appreciate it!

    Another potential fix for the white face problem if the other posted solutions don't work. I found it on this page:
    https://steamcommunity.com/app/22380/discussions/0/846959876037679015/

    You need to edit your fallout.ini file
