    Benny keeps running through the Fort that I've Pre Emptied. Loaded older save tried dif way without slaughtering the legion first. Still runs right to the stupid drawbridge door then turns around and just runs in a circle. Tried spawning new one in with console commands, BOTH are doing the same exact things. Try to do it vanilla, have him fight with me. Still running around inner Fort area like an idiot. I pickpocketed a bobby pin and 2 stealth boys in his inventory for good measure. STILL no matter what I do he's running around. The mod seems to be working, in that he's essential, and the new note. But beyond that. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but nothing I've read/tried so far works.

    Hey, so i just installed this mod AFTER freeing benny from the fort, he will not spawn at the 188 trading post, so what do i do? Does anyone know what the ref or form id for the companion instance of Benny is?

      i know its been a while, but heres what you need to do.
      the command is player.placeatme 0001344BE. i couldnt find his ID for being at the 188, and for all I know, it may be the same one since this was the one i found in the mod's files.

      go to the fort, and stand outside of caesar's tent. after that, he will pathfind his way to the drawbridge, and should leave, and spawn at the 188 trading post. the reason you do it outside of caesar's tent is that he will automatically pathfind his way back to the door to caesar's tent, before pathfinding to the drawbridge, even if you spawn him right at the drawbridge.

    benny just dissapears the moment he leaves caesar's tent, i use vats to try and see if hes there, nothing, i use the command to teleport to him, it just teleports me to the tent door. what do i do? i went to the 188 and he wasnt there

    edit: spawned him in using the command "player.placeatme 0001344BE", but i had to do it at the fort outside caesar's tent, since otherwise he would just try to pathfind his way to the tent again, and then pathfind to the drawbridge. I was unable to find his ID for when he was at the 188, but it may be the same one and it just changes his dialogue upon him triggering leaving the fort idk

    edit 2: nvm it didnt work. no idea why it didnt work, the mod might just be entirely broken for me for some reason, since he was not at the 188 at all even after all this

    edit 3: apparently, it did work, he just appeared like in the middle of the wasteland instead of the 188. He eventually met up with me at Novac, when I was trying to do Boone's quest. His ID is 140021ec, so if you want to summon him, do player.placeatme 140021ec, and if you want to go to him, do player.moveto 140021ec.

    anyone have an idea on how to change the black widow checks to confirmed bachelor? Or at least change femme dialogue to masc

    Have you considered implementing AI to generate Matthew Perry's voice for new lines of dialogue?

    So I released benny before going into the bunker, and now  cant find him at the 188. Am I stupid or is something wrong?

    Just as an info for everyone who is struggling with the same issue I had with this mod active:

    It creates a wrong path for the female version of Bennys Suit, when equipping the suit on a female character it is invisible. You can easiliy fix this in FNVEdit (just rename the path to the original one)

    Does anyone know how to bypass the issue with Caesar?

    I can't progress Caesar's quests further, because he's defaulted to "having to deal with Benny until he'll talk to me".

    Initially I was allowed to talk to him after getting Benny as a companion, as if I'd progressed that part, but once I returned to Caesar later on in my playthrough, he'd reverted to "I won't talk to you, until you've dealt with Benny"

    Seeing as Benny is marked as "Essential", I can't even kill him to bypass the issue.

    Does anyone have a fix for this?

    Anyway to use Fallout Character Overhaul, with this Benny? Before he leaves the fort, he uses the FCO textures, but afterwards he reverts back to vanilla. Which I'm guessing, is normal, since he's added back in via your mod. Not sure how to do it myself, but I'd love to be able to use FCO with your mod. He's actually amusing to have tag along, and is definitely one of favorite followers.

      You're right, there's vanilla Benny and then there's Companion Benny. You can adjust the face textures with the GECK, but it's been a while since I've had to do it...

      So I fought with it for a few hours (because this mod looks awesome and I really wanted it to work with FCO), but I finally got his FCO face (and body, I hope, haven't actually looked) to transfer over to Companion Benny. Here's what I did (seems like the last step was what did it, but here is all of it, just in case).

      1. Open FNVEdit.
      2. de-select everything (right click, select none), except for FCOMaster.esm, FCO - NPC Changes.esp, and BennyReturns.esp
      3. Open up the BennyReturns.esp in the left window, go into the Non-Player Character section, and click the first entry (should be a code, then Benny Benny)
      4. A bunch of green should now be in the right window, with the four esm/esps labeled at the top. You want to scroll down until you find several fields, the first is "Head Parts - PNAM - Head Part", click that field under the FCO - NPC Changes.esp (or FCOMaster, they should be the same), and drag it over to the SAME field under BennyReturns.esp, click "Yes" when it lets you. The goal is to have all appearance related fields match (except for FalloutNV.esm, which is the default and we should probably leave it alone.)
      5. Do the click-drag maneuver for the following fields (as necessary, some of these might have already been the same, I can't recall): HNAM - Hair, LNAM - Hair Length, ENAM - Eyes, FaceGen Data (all three subsections)
      6. Ok, now here is the tricky bit. Scroll back up to the top, and find "RNAM - Race", and copy that over to BennyReturns like all the rest. THEN, right-click it (should say "Caucasian303 "Caucasian 30 3" [RACE:0200084B]"), hit edit, and copy the field. (Or copy it from here without the outer quotation marks, assuming it's the same.) Now, over in the left window, open up BennyReturns Benny, and paste that into the RNAM - Race field.

      That should be it. You can now close FNVEdit (it'll ask if you want to make a backup. I did, just in case), and it'll save without you your input. Benny should now no longer have Bethesda-Potato-Face or any horrible hybrid Bethesda-BennyReturns-FCO mutant face(which is what I had at first. Eugh...)

      Thank You! Worked like a miracle and I used this 'guide' to solve a similar conflict between the Vulpes follower mod and Dragbodys Legion overhaul.

    Benny showed up at novac, i recruited him, the double perk glitch happened and then the game crashed. Using the 1.7 ESP btw.
