Keep in mind that in the old fallouts 1000 rads isn't a insta-kill if you have high enough stats http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Radiated
"Also, should the character be able to survive to maximum irradiation (1000 rads) (as in their stats do not reach zero), the character has 24 hours to use enough rad-aways to get themselves under 1000 rads or die anyway."

I know, I was just brainstorming ideas for your mod. I'm sorry if I sounded demanding in some way, I didn't mean to. I forget that sometimes when typing....

The reason I didn't have it where your limbs were instantly crippled is because I based it heavily on the previous stages of the radiation sickness, what I had done is doubled the previous sickness' stats.

    Reduced Agility - 4 = Doubled
    Reduced Endurance - 6 = Doubled
    Reduced Strength - 4 = Doubled
    Regeneration - 10 = +2

I'm willing to improve the radiation sickness, giving it a new feel. My current ideas (past ideas too) is making it where you would actually start to hallucinate, sweat(dehyrdation for the hardcore players) so there's more reason to avoid radiation.

I'd be glad to create a seperate update for the people who would like health drains, crippled limbs etc, the only thing is that I'd like people to inform me on what they would want mostly, as you could imagine how tiresome and confusing it would get if I were to make an individual file for each user.

Maybe you can make it so that instead of dying you get all your limbs become permanently crippled until your rads go down, lets face it when all your limbs are crippled the player becomes useless. lol

Like the idea, but I feel like there could be better execution. I think the main problem in vanilla is just the insta death that comes without a whole lot of warning or blinking lights. Especially if you're running a rad child playthrough and keeping your rads at 800 on purpose.

Maybe a better solution would be at 1000 to add an effect that made the player lose 10-15 hp per second so that they would visually see that they are dying fast but still have time to bring up their pip boy in order to use a rad away.

Seeing my hp bar draining fast is a big enough cue to get my attention.

@cheburator987, I'm well aware of the effects of radiation in real life, but if we compare it to real life then we've ruined the game, how many people do you know who can carry a whole arsenal of weapons in his back pocket? or know of anyone who can step on mines and walk away with a limp. See where we can go with this, I'm not trying to be funny or rude, it's just you should never compare games to real life.. because it's a game.

Thanks a lot guys for your Endorsements and feedback, If there's any ideas you'd like me to put into a mod, wether it be continuing with the effects of radiation or even a whole new idea, then please message me privatly, thanks.

In real life people die of radiation in the matter of seconds.

Oh, i'm sorry, i didn't realize Fallout was real life.

Forgive the maker of this mod, because he obviously didn't realise that. Oh, and forgive the rest of the community.

The only time I even had trouble with rads was the vault with the weapons and stuff, but this mod alone makes me want to have a ghoul playthrough.

@DaWrecka, I didn't even think past the 1000 rads, so thanks for the little insight.

@gamerdude132, I've met people like him on all the nexus areas, I guess I should learn to ignore. I was actually going to reduce charisma along with the glow, I mean who wants to talk to that glowy green guy? but it could work the other way, it would make a great conversation in how you actually got your glow.

Thanks a lot guys for the comments, I appreciate it. I'll have to look around in G.E.C.K to see if I can add upon this idea and keep perks working after reaching the final radiation stages.
