I am currently on a major break, life has become insane and I dont have the time or mental willpower to make mods at this time. That does NOT mean I am gone forever or that my mods are dead/broken, it simply means I dont have the time right now. Modding is fun for me its a nice hobby, however it was becoming a job that I got nothing from for all the many hours I have to put into them. Its just to much for me at this time.
My permissions still stand, just because I am on break does NOT mean you can take my mods without permission.
If you have missing parts, invisible legs, ect, it is a well known problem with some ENB. I was told it was fixed with the later updates but perhaps not, or you might be using a older ENB.
To fix it: Change FixTransparencyBugs=true to FixTransparencyBugs=false in the enblocal.ini
I would like to say again, I am tired of all the requests for Vanilla versions. I do NOT use Vanilla bodies, I do NOT like them. I feel they are a inferior product compared to the many modder made bodies that are higher poly and higher res.
I do NOT use females, but I have made you all female versions. I do NOT use Breeze, but I have made you all Breeze versions. I have done enough and more then most modders are willing to do.
If you feel its so super easy to do and should take no time at all... Then please PM me and we can talk about YOU doing the work. Please remember the items need to include: 1. Pipboy compatibility 2. Blood decals 3. Clean and correctly named NiTriShape/NiTriStrips 4. Decent rigging
I will now no longer be commenting on any more requests for male or female vanilla versions, this should be more then enough of a answer.
I'm no expert but the mesh from type4 mods mesh is different compared to type3 and type6, but it doesn't mean it won't work it just might look a bit wonky.
It should work fine, all the different type bodies: 3, 4, 6m, all use the same texture mapping so any texure made for any type body works on any other, I think BnB even works this way, the shape might be a little off when compared to other clothes but all the textures should apply fine.
https://www.reddit.com/r/fnv/comments/7scqyj/spice_of_life_for_vanilla_bodies_patch/ in case anyone still wondering, i hate when people talk about a patch without linking
This is in relation to a post I saw somewhere in here.
The only reason why I'm complaining abt this is, while yes the body mods are frustrating as hell to download (and kind of broken now, too) a lot of these body mods tend to look really out of place compared to the rest of the game for some people. Like...yes, the vanilla models look like shit...but at the same time so does the rest of the game, so it looks 'correct' I guess. Personally, I'm not the kind of person to download these texture/modeling mods for this reason, plus they make the game more unstable with my own experience. I'm sure a lot of people share the same opinion. And while yes, people should just "learn" how to mod it properly, a lot of us are very new to modding and don't even know where to start and could really mess everything up as a result. It doesn't help that most of these body model installation instructions are vague as f*#@, too.
I would love to see a vanilla model update sometime in the future if you could. I'll try out jokerine's mod to see if it works better. If you're able to add it in, I would be incredibly grateful. Your mod looks really cool and I would love to use it, but I just cant stand the requirement for body mods.
What are you talking about? It is easy as hell to download body mods and some of them are an upgrade and do not look out of place at all. Roberts Breeze for example is a staple. If you think that they are frustrating to download maybe go learn the basics of modding and if you have no patience then modding is not for you sorry.
can u give me a hand then i cant get the body mods to work, i did the archive invalidation, but i have a green bar on my chest and legs and my body looks really patchy. like if two bodies were in one.
To anyone that dont want to download this mod because it requires body mods, go spend a day or to to learn how to mod the game before crying to mod authors asking for s#*! you dont deserve. If you dont want to spend time to learn how to mod stick to vanilla
oh im so sorry, there are some people who are new to modding that need help, it's not like there's a YouTube tutorial for every mod. but I for one could use a hand. if you think i don't deserve someone that can teach others how modding works then you must want people like me to stay ignorant to such information.
in other words, how do you expect people to learn if most are unwilling to teach... to each their own i guess...
I'm kinda hoping someone comes along and picks a mod like this back up, we're so far ahead now that it could use a few updates, especially where female body replacers are concerned.
How low are the backpacks spawning rates? I'm in a 60 hour playthrought and found only 5 backpacks and of only 3 types. I would like to see other types. Is there a way to manually see their ID and spawn them with the player.additem command?
Open the mod in FNVEdit then check for armors and find the backpacks' ID's. Also the backpacks and items added to NPC's from this mod edit the NPC records. Another mod that also alters NPC's may overwrite SoL and prevent them from spawning on NPC's. The solution would be to created a merged patch.
For those of you out there using both Spice of Life and Flashlight NVSE, the flashlight and ponchos take up the same bodyslot. So if you want to be able to wear a poncho and use a piece of flashlight equipment at the same time you will need to use FNVEdit (apparently GECK can do the job as well) to edit the ponchos and change them to bodyslot 3.
Edit: Just to be clear for those that would appreciate it, this is how I did it:
1. Open FNVEdit, find and select the Spice of Life module labled 1nivVSLArmors.esp. 2. Open up the Armor tab and change the Biped Flags entries for all the ponchos, from Body AddOn 1, to Body AddOn 3. 3. Save after you have completed this, and now you should be able to wear a poncho and use flashlight equipment at the same time.
Hi, is this mod still good for modern New Vegas modding? I like the clothes and want to use them, but if they break the game or glitch out I'm afraid I will miss out. If there is a patch I will use it, but please don't recommend the S6S patch. That one removes way to much for my liking.
Thanks again for making the mod and I hope to use it soon!
