The reason they used the non transparent texture is because the transparent one randomly makes your facial hair disappear. If that doesn't bother you too much or if your character is shaven or female, then this mod is essential.
@burian This mod doesn't provide the Vault Security Helmet itself. For FONV, I know for a fact that Vault 34 has a bunch of Vault 34 Security Armor as well as the helmets. *SPOILER* Vault 34 is the Northeastern one, the one that's irradiated and has a bunch of ghouls running around inside.
