Another person had already created a mod that had the bio research station convert the new plants. The link for it is http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=43265. That is why I did not include it in this mod.
I was working off the food list on the Fallout: New Vegas wiki, and they were actually not listed. It is indeed a plant, at first I thought it was kind of iffy but it's an easy addition so I put the recipe in. I set the Survival skill requirement to 50.
