Yeah, something I'd suggest is to put a note of the problem with the user manual, have it as a note or something, because I'm sure there's likely /some/ people that still get the underscored mod name. Admittedly, adding that note is likely the easiest 'fix' to it, I'm not sure just how much you put into the script itself, but might be able to fix it more permanently by changing the reference the script looks for.
@Cmanson Rename The Commando - Rifle Animation Pack-38527-1-1b.rar so it would look like this The_Commando_-_Rifle_Animation_Pack-38527-1-1b and The Professional - Pistol Animation Pack-38527-1-1toThe_Professional_-_Pistol_Animation_Pack-38527-1-1 Then using Fomm Add PFP, select Fomm archive and select your Source folder
Hello everyone. Just wanted to put this in here for a big FYI/BTW. Gopher has remade his 9 year old "Beginners Guide to Modding" video series and has included how to install this mod using Vortex/Manual Downloads in the 6th part of the series for 2020 (link below).

Wondering if anyone has had any problems getting these animations to work after using this new guide. I can not get it to work at all. Edit: Used a "no hassle" version of this mod. Recommend using this if you have problems trying to get the other way to work. Weapon Animation Replacers by joefoxx082 FULL - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50716
I don't know why, but since I changed the Animations for the Assault Rifles, I cannot change them anymore. No mather how many times I re-install the mod, the assault rifles animations don't change. I'm trying to put the Core Animations but the game is still using the optional one.
hey so Im a little tech illiterate and s#*! but after the initial animation choices when first installing the mod how do you change them without a full reinstall to bring up the window when it was initially installed? sorry if this has been answered before im just new to modding and figured Id ask
Hello I managed to install it with MO2, everything works except the animation for shooting with one hand, although I checked Gunslinger, but he still aims with both hands
Fallout Mod Manager & Nexus Mod Manager. Two very dated mod managers that you'd do well to avoid using in 2022. But they were very common in 2011-2015 or so
Someone knows if there are around replacements for the firing from the hip animation with two hands like in option 4 style? Becouse even with these installed i still get the classic one handed firing from the hip animation with pistols.

Since most downloaders embedded in browsers for winblows OS automatically replace unix _ with a space perhaps a script look for X or Y filenames instead? (yes i'm obviously not a programmer) failing that just make 2 and add the "if the first one failed to find files use the other one" to the instructions.

Hello I managed to install it with MO2, everything works except the animation for shooting with one hand, although I checked Gunslinger, but he still aims with both hands
Still new to modding.
I've only used Vortex but some people swear by MO2.
Becouse even with these installed i still get the classic one handed firing from the hip animation with pistols.
