I like the look of the rifle. I think you nailed it with the model. The problems I have with this mod is that the single fire only m3 carbine does way too little damage for a single shot in this game. No offense but I think its quite ignorant to not listen to the complaint of how this rifle's reload is only a stripper clip reload. I would prefer a magazine reload like maybe use the service rifle reload instead of the m1 Garand reload. I know 9mm is a 30 caliber rifle but i think if the carbine used 357 magnum it would be alot more accurate as the two cartridges are similar irl. Overall I like the visuals but this mod is buggy and not that great functionally.
Would love to see you explain how an M-1 carbine would feed a rimmed cartridge through but hey you do you bro. And yeah I tried a few animations, none of them lined up. So if you want a version where the player grips air and the mag just magically changes than sure I got you. No, there was an amount of thought that went into this, I'm just not about to listen to that "one guy" that knows f*#@ all

But it will not be animated so you will not see the magazine get removed.
You need to download the FNVEdit its on Nexus download it manually and click the shortcut
Once you run it find the M-1 Cabine.esp file and select it.
open the file and select the Weapons file. Inside you will see the M2 and M3 versions.
Select one of them and look at the right side of the window. You will see the different settings of the gun.
Move down the different settings till you come across the Reload Animations setting by default it says ReloadP Change it to ReloadO
Your gun should now reload differently and will not slash with the scope. Hope that's good enough to fix your problem.
And to the other posts, I will look into the issues posted.
