I like the look of the rifle. I think you nailed it with the model. The problems I have with this mod is that the single fire only m3 carbine does way too little damage for a single shot in this game. No offense but I think its quite ignorant to not listen to the complaint of how this rifle's reload is only a stripper clip reload. I would prefer a magazine reload like maybe use the service rifle reload instead of the m1 Garand reload. I know 9mm is a 30 caliber rifle but i think if the carbine used 357 magnum it would be alot more accurate as the two cartridges are similar irl. Overall I like the visuals but this mod is buggy and not that great functionally.

Would love to see you explain how an M-1 carbine would feed a rimmed cartridge through but hey you do you bro.  And yeah I tried a few animations, none of them lined up.  So if you want a version where the player grips air and the mag just magically changes than sure I got you.  No, there was an amount of thought that went into this, I'm just not about to listen to that "one guy" that knows f*#@ all

while 357 is a more accurate cartridge, I like that it uses 9 mil since I don't use the stock 9 mil weapons. lol.

might be a little late to ask, but do you think you could potentially add levelled list integration for NCR troopers? that'd be awesome

Having texture issues with the scope. The scope appears all buggered up. Wondering if there is a known fix for this.

Nice mod. And the size of the M2/M3 are correct compared to the other M1 carbine mods. Endorsed and voted

Is there a way to fix the gun with either Nifskope or Geck so it uses the proper reload animation?

You can change the Reload Animations.
But it will not be animated so you will not see the magazine get removed.

You need to download the FNVEdit its on Nexus download it manually and click the shortcut

Once you run it find the M-1 Cabine.esp file and select it.

open the file and select the Weapons file. Inside you will see the M2 and M3 versions.

Select one of them and look at the right side of the window. You will see the different settings of the gun.

Move down the different settings till you come across the Reload Animations setting by default it says ReloadP Change it to ReloadO

Your gun should now reload differently and will not slash with the scope. Hope that's good enough to fix your problem.

Could we get an optional file for a .308 variant, for people who don't use caliberX?

it's chambered in 9mm in the original .esp so you don't have to use CaliberX

And to the other posts, I will look into the issues posted.

Nothing a minute or two with the GECK can't fix.

You can change that in GECK if you're a bit familiar with GECK.
