"Obsidian made a very nice game for people like us, don't put them down because of a misplaced brain, it says more about you then it says about the devs.."
Someones polishing Obsidian's shaft I see. The massive gaping hole mistakes that Obsidian have made disappointed me a LOT. Ive always said New Vegas feels like an expansion not a new game because of the limited free roam (yeah invisible walls in the middle of areas p*** me off okay?) and re-using some things is fine but more than half of what I see in the game I think "haven't I seen that before?" because its been re-used from fallout 3.
Anyway good catch I didn't notice a couple things till later when my friend kept pointing them out but at least I get some peace when people post fixes like this
Blame Bethesda for pushing for early release dates on everything including the entire main game. And news flash, Bethesda were in charge of Q&A. That includes bug testing.
Yea, they had a year to create a game using an engine they had next to no understanding of. I think it's great that they were able to push out a project that's still held up as a gold standard of Fallout Storytelling etc etc insert other rambling and arguments here
i am pretty sure i heard something about how obsidian willingly pushed out the game even though they were offered extra time to finish but i may be misremembering things
I'll keep this mod tracked for now because I am more worried about the fact that my military dogs don't walk, they scooch along. Legs don't seem to work.
I know, perhaps I was a little too cranky yesterday and sorry for my english, it isn't my first language...However, what I was trying to say is that, most of the bugs I've correct lately, seems to be done by someone who just didn't care enough to loose some extra minutes to do its job properly or just behaves like a noob who doesn't know how Fallout stuff is arranged. Example:
about the unused HQ textures for the 1st poerson view of some weapons on the last DLC ( and not only), the main problem was that, whoever named them, didn't follow the same method used on every other DLC or just forgot to put the prefix "NVDLC03", making those texture packs difficult to find ecc, but at the same time, who was responsable of those texturing, didn't lose any time searching among the other files and not even checked how those textures looked on the weapons model, not realizing they were wrong placed ( sonic emitter variants ) .
And there are a lot of other axamples, like recycled icons and models from FO3, where new ones where needed, or even missing features, like a reload animations for the Ballistic Fist, which model already have a 2 shotgun shells clip never used...and I could continue for a lot more, but I'll stop myself here...for this time ;P ...
However, thx to you guys and do not hesitate, fix yourself, or let other modders know, any other bug you notice...I hope you enjoy a little more this cool game, which could be better, and have a nice day ...
Nice fix, though the readme and description are a bit missleading "copy the .esp" and then suddenly "this fix does not require a .esp". You kinda get the feeling you missed something xD
Obsidian actually pulled through making this DLC for once.
Just alot of feedback I seen is that people actually enjoy Old World Blues as its reasonably big, funny and offers unique weapons as a new type of Cyber Dog in the form of a Big ass gun that barks and whines and has a Floating Brain in it!
Brilliance... need more guns with Brains attached to them.

Nah. The Medi-jell congealed so now it's just a giant jello mold with a brain inside it, though you can't eat 200 year old Dog brain jelly.
Thanks for the fix btw, it's just those tiny little details that just draw you out and make you think Oh wait...that's right, I'm playing a game...
Nice Fix, downloading it now...
Yep... it's totally not their fault for the hundreds of bugs in this game... even though they... well... made it. Lol.
Excellent fix though!
