This mod aims to restore the balance from the original Fallout titles to armor in New Vegas. This includes a rebalancing of weight and a return to using both Damage Threshold and Damage Resistance on armor to model it's effectiveness. Most armor has had it's threshold reduced massively, and converted into resistance.
This version of the mod is basically little more than a prototype. I am checking to see if this is a viable gameplay change.
I suspect this will have to expand into a weapon overhaul as well, but I'm holding off on this at the moment. At present the mod does NOT alter the armor of non-human foes, like robots, deathclaws, or radscorpions.
