2 years? has it really been that long? as far as serenity and a few others go, I never really thought about making this game ready... This ship along with some halo interiors, star trek, star wars and a few others, there are still a few that are getting more detailed than others, but unfortunately most of my favorites can't be distributed here so you will have to find them elsewhere.
...as far as the fire fly ship goes, I never really considered getting to a usable interior and animated distribution at the time fallout and the creation engine was big. figured I would just push it into the creation engine as a skyrim spin off.. but none the less in a few months I will get back to a game ready version of this ugly goose of a ship, and watch that show and add in some interiors.
As far as the support thing goes I don't upload to often, most work just sits on a drive and consistently gets refined or rebuilt... but then again most of my favorite concepts can not be loaded here anyways.
@ANOLTE6 - It's been 2 years since a response, perhaps this can now be used for without permission, but I wouldn't be asking here, ask Ermeso from XRE
@Dartasan - It'd need a specially textured interior, i doubt it will ever happen - but you never know. I could make this into a home but again, it need to be custom in my opinion.
Overall it is a shame that support for this has died, it was a potentially great project. Hopefully one day. I'll endorse anyway and see about an interior.
there is already a small cock pit interior and the start of a mid shell interior on the dorsal.
The cargo bay it an interior all by itself.
The textures to poly for detail is the issue.
In order for this ship that all the fans know actually has two different models for the TV/movie which includes the feet design. There is the improved movie version of the ship and the lower version for the tv show. The feet are from the tv version and the ship is a combination of tv, movie and a bit of a refit for its butt ( the boosters are removed and replaced with one big booster )
The wasteland in both fallout version love meshes at about 500kb or less with texture; It chuggs at 10 mb and crashes at more than the frames allocated mb.
The ship is meant as its own world space but the low poly is meant as a distant ship or a _LOD piece.
either way you look at it, it is not an easy task maintaining detail while sacrificing vert/faces for texture.
