Apologies for any missed messages on this mod, honestly I had stepped away from modding for many years. If any want to do anything with this mod feel free as long as you give credit to those in the mod description. Thank you all and I hope this mod helped out :)
enter the console ~ then click on the object if you see it properly named top of screen then continue commands setangle x 0 setangle y 0 setangle z 0 hopefully it is laying flat, upright, and most likely it is facing the wrong way so you can start SPINNING (Z) it slowly with commands setangle z 15 setangle z 30 setangle z 45 not LITERALLY im showing you how to PLAY WITH YOUR OBJECT and spin it... till you're happy... now if its' likely noot in the perfect PLACE NEITHER then use these commands after each other getpos x getpos y getpos z (be carefull when you SETpos z later cuz thats Altitude) anyways, write these getpos values down IMPORTANT YOU DO THIS because sometimes the x goes left/right sometimes the x goes closer/farther.. thats why you write the x, y, z pos's DOWN so you don't send your light to Dry Wells.. ie. lets say getpos x >> -37489.24 ~ so now you change the GET to a SET command slowly try setpos x -37489.00 (notice you start with a small adjustment to see which way it is going to go... sometimes the number will be NEGATIVE sometimes the number will be POSITIVE be careful... when you are finished with X... do the same process with Y when you are finished with bothe X and Y... remember the Z value is altiitude adjust it if necessary the same way ~ don't forget to LEAVE the console with another "~" key
Awesome idea, just exactly what I was looking for...
Except Chet never has them. Ok, it's highly unlikely this will ever get fixed at any point, but fair warning: it dosn't always work.
Edit: After some fiddling around with XEdit to determine the FormID numbers for the various lights, I was able to spawn them directly. And they work as advertised. So, yes, if you want permenant, static lighting in a safe area, this will work. Convenient it ain't.
I agree. Like the idea, but needs to work with Feng Shui mod. The flood lights especially are very tricky to place. Also annoying that if I turn off the lamp, it is no longer locked in place.
Is there any other way to get the lamps, im playing Fallout: Dust and obviously Chet is dead, if there isnt then any chance I can have the console commands to spawn them in?
Light sources (lamps, lanterns) do increase brightness level in their surroundings when turned on, but themselves stay same, dark, dim or semi-bright. 'Light Module' do not have menus. Turning any lamp off unlocks it, so it can be bumped. Lamps of directional light works as omni-directional ones.
It is problem with my installation, or it's by design?
Yeah that is odd. I just have tried one lamp (hotel lamp) and there you can see it clearly. I think some lamps should not be used in that mod. Those where you can see clearly that the lightsource is not the "lamp".
I have Fellout witch makes things horribly dark, but more realistic IMO, (the bight nights ALWAYS bothered me when playing my Console ver in my pre PC days) and this mod goes along with that one nicely. it's exactly what i was hoping to find and has made my living spaces on the game a lot brighter and more welcoming. everyone needs a safe place to go home to and hang their deathclaw heads, right? Thanks for answering my prayers, endorsed and etc etc.
To me this mod feels essential, not only for ENB but for general beautification as well... Excellent config-possibilities! Just wishing a few more traders carried them in stock ^_^ *much endorsed*

which is kinda an absolute necessity for proper placement and locking. can you please look into fixing this

I have to modify one thing. Please shine the light of Vaccum tube light.(shine a flashlight)

I guess you can set it fix in the menu (v1.1).
