This works really well! Before this mod, for some reason my character didn't seem to run faster with light clothing and appropriate perks, so this mod fixed that! Only needed the 125. Choices! And I love that you don't have to wear the choker after you put it on once. So, it doesn't take a slot to use it. Brilliant. (Would also mean you could use it in dead money I would think) but I haven't tried taking it out of inventory. It just works! Thanks so much! Oh, and for some reason it makes me go even faster crouching than running. Took a minute to get used to, but love it!
Incredible mod, does exactly what I wanted. Everyone else had to make it difficult to get a faster movement speed. I either had to reset all my achievement progress by using console codes, or install BIG DICK 50 MOD PACK ALL IN ONE to get a sprint function. But not anymore. You're a king, m8.
Hate to say this, but doesn't it apply in Dead Money if all of the players belongings are confiscated including the choker? Rendering the perk useless?
I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just started playing 'Fallout New Vegas' this month, with more than 200 mods installed and working just fine.
I tested all the speed mods for FNV, and the only one I really liked was 'Run Speed Perk', but unfortunately it isn't perfect, so I had to adjust some things in GECK to fit my needs (for example, I disabled the pop message that appears every time a speed is selected).
There's another thing that really annoys me, but that one I don't know how to solve: It is possible to hotkey the speed chokers in pip-boy, and the item change is displayed correctly in pip-boy screen, but the actual speed doesn't change to the player using hotkeys, so every time I want to change the speed, I have to open pip-boy, select apparel, select the desired speed, and close pip-boy (4 steps that could been avoided if hotkey was working).
If anyone has some clue of how can I fix that, I would be immensely grateful.
Would it be possible to make it so it activates while Holding Crouch so you would go from Running Mode to Sneak Mode (If Crouch is Tapped to Toggle) then Sprinting (If Crouch is Hold) and then either if you release Crouch you Toggle Sprint (Hold for ??Secs to Toggle Sprint) or release Crouch to stop Sprint (Meaning only when Crouch is Hold does player Sprint)
Possibly for Jump as well cause both have an unreserved and opened Hold Function unless there is an option to Toggle Sneak Mode.
This works really well! Is there any way that the base "walk" speed could be changed to the former base run speed? I would like to be able to move a little more slowly indoors, or while disarming traps... and after blazing around all over the place the walk speed just feels like pulling teeth.
