You don't need this. All anyone needs really is Project Nevada. This is just extra stuff that's bugged for MO2 and Vortex users. FOMM is extremely outdated and not necessary for mod use.
I've had to do a clean reinstall of FNV on my laptop because I downloaded some bugged out texture mods that crashed my game. I figured since I was doing a reinstall I might as well try and get the patch pack for PN, but it's not needed.
The DLC patch works in a way you have to put this mod's files into the base Project Nevada files and add them to the correct folders and copy over all esp's and it works like a charm. I got my Hud, icons, and everything with no issues. It might work with other patches haven't tested them yet
Ok, what files and folders? The FOMOD folder in data with all the base files for Project Nevada or the NVSE data folder? I kind of want these patches even though they're not really necessary, and I keep running into the same issue with MO2 not wanting to install them, missing masters, etc.
To avoid this, activate whatever mod you are patching with PN. Like EVE. Install PN, activate, then EVE, activate that, then the patch, and you should be good to go.
Thank you for this mod, I dont use many of the features such as Bullet time or Sprint but those which I do really enhance the experience and have made me, as a bit of a classic Fallout purist, fall in love with modern 3D betheda-esque Fallout. Not quite so far as to try Fallout 3 again or to buy Fallout 4 but I am really finally seeing how amazing New Vegas feels and how it really is, at its core a classic Interplay/ Black Isle Fallout game, and mods like this one which make the world more atmospheric and thicker are instrumental in my realisation. Thank you for your work.
I am struggling however with a few things: I have created a piece of head-canon custom Power Armor using the GECK and the helmet in particular I would like to use with the enhanced visor options included in this mod. Not the incuded overlays, specifically just the Night and Electric heat vision. I was able, using the GECK to apply other effects (visor overlay and breathing) from this mod:https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/67870 with relative ease yet when applying the same logic to your mod I ran up against a wall; I was unable to find the effects in the FormList and then in FNVEdit, again was unable to find any way to actually allow my custom helmet to make use of the effects. Any help would be appreciated. I am new to modding in this context, I would mess with shareware when I was young but this is very complex and a lot of variables and appears to be a far more delicate proccess. Again I am just trying to make use of the Enhanced visor modes, the night vision and such, not the actual overlays. Thank you.
Brilliant mod, while I dont make use of many features the ones I do use I have been enjoying a great deal. Thank you ;)
