For those that cannot find the recipes - If you installed via FOMM or NMM, check inside of your data folder. There should be a WITH backpack and WITHOUT backpack folder, both containing their respective .esp files. Just move the .esp file of your choice into your data folder, then the effects should show up on the NCR Ranger Combat Armor + Helmet, as well as finding the recipes at the workbench. Hope this helped, enjoy =)
Edit: Okay, so. The armor isn't the problem anymore. The helmet however isn't receiving any sort of stat change, written or otherwise. The armor's equipped stats works as advertised.. But the helmet is just a plain helmet with no negative charisma, etc. Hmmm, anyone know what happened?
I've recently installed this mod and ESP No Backpack and ESP Backpack are inside the Data folder. However I'm not exactly sure what to do with those folders. I've browsed through the posts as well as the forum but all of the tutorials I can find are quite vague. I could use some help please.
This mod isn't working for me. At all. I installed it the same way I have installed all other mods - through NMM. I'm looking at the Ranger Combat Armor in my inventory right now, and it gives no additional stats. It's just an armor set with "30 DT" and that's all.
EDIT: Since I can't figure out how to delete posts, I'm editing it instead. I figured it out finally. Didn't realize it installs two folders inside your Data folder, because it's optional which armor you choose. Had to pick one and put it in the proper location.
This is an amazing mod, I love the concept of being able to modify the armor to no longer be NCR yet it still is one of the best-looking armors in the vanilla game. Although I do have a few suggestions and comments for the mod author:
A. I've had the same problem as many have commented on how to install the armor, a possible fix for this is to have the downloads separate, one filed labeled "backpack fix" and the other labeled "no backpack" or something similar.
B. A compatibility patch for other mods that alter the armor, for example, ADAM. It's very saddening for me, as a huge fan of both these mods, that the textures have to overwrite each other. While there is a simple way to get around this, I'd still love to see the work used in conjunction with ADAM.
C. The coats on the ranger armors. There are multiple fixes for this on the nexus site, but none of them will modify the coats of the modified ranger armors, in the next update, that could be a possibility, no? d:
Other than what I've mentioned, I thoroughly enjoy this mod, it's truly amazing, and it deserves way more attention than it gets.
Hey. If you're going to install this via NMM, check your DATA folder and you should see 2 files (ESP With backpack and ESP Without Backpack) Just pick one of the files and extract to the data file (this is all I know. Whether it works is a different matter altogether)
