Haha I've been running the skip dead money DLC because of this bug in particular among other annoyances that when I found the DMT Dead money overhaul (shameless plug for a great mod by the way that makes dead money much more fun) I'd forgotten that it existed and thought at first it was the mod, then I recalled that the main reason I actually hated dead money had nothing to do with the balance of the mod but that I kept losing characters to this bug crap on top of things.
thank you so much for this fix man ur a life saver this is my 3rd playthrough on deadmoney and I cant tell u how many times ive had sh**y bugs like the door that leads to the elevator in the vault opening but still having collision as if closed tcl fixed that though, and ive had the bomb collar explode right when killing Elijah that was a go back fix. at this point im glad I play on pc and have 1000 save slots cause hell when doing dlcs u have to keep like ten different saves
even though I had YUP unofficial patch installed, the problem still persist, so I just need to get this mod manually & put it back on. problem solved. my problem with this buggy engine is that, after the intro & talking talker Elijah, suddenly my health drop like hell?! glad this mod still have with us. thanks!

Finished 90% of dead money on very hard playing with this s#*! because i thought it was suppose to happen :/ well this has pretty much ruined the expansion for me, could have taken my time more and had more fun. thanks for uploading the fix though.
This stopped the drain for me but I still get the effect of poison or something wearing off every so often. Anyone know what's going on there? Edit: Never mind was a glitch with some chems I think.
