1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

1. Extract to Fallout New Vegas/Data and enable Bottle That
Blood in the Fallout New Vegas Launcher.

2. Mod Description

*****************************************************************

This mod adds a perk called Hematophage that enables bottling
and drinking blood. The perk itself can be purchased with the
perk menu or you can simply complete the simple challenge of
drinking 25 blood packs to acquire it. With this you can decide
how to get it.

This mod allows you to bottle blood from various red blood
sources. It also adds a buyable canteen that will keep you
automatically hydrated (see further down for details).

To bottle or drink blood simply activate a red blood source
while sneaking. To bottle blood you'll need empty blood packets
which you can gain by drinking blood packets or purchase at
the New Vegas Medical Clinic from Doctor Usanagi. There's only
a limited amount of blood in a body so you can bottle a maximum
of 10 packets which also fills your canteen or drink blood from
the body.

The red blood sources are as follows:
Humans
Ghouls
Big Horners
Brahmin
Death Claws
Dogs/Coyotes
Geckos
Mole Rats
Rats

Blood Packs (Identical stats to Purified Water with Camel perk)
-57 Dehydration
+2 Health per second for 5 seconds (Total +10 hp)

Drink Blood
-200 Dehydration
+5 Health per second for 10 seconds (Total +50 hp)

Canteen
********
IMPORTANT: Buy only 1 canteen having more than 1 is useless and
may mess things up. The extra stock is in case you lose it.

The canteen has a capacity of 4 sips of Blood. Whenever
you're dehydration goes higher than 50 and you are not in combat
you'll automatically take a sip from the canteen. You can also
manually take a sip by activating the canteen. One sip of blood
will restore 25 dehydration. The amount of blood left in the
canteen is visible when mousing over it in your inventory.

The canteen is automatically refilled with blood from blood packs
when it runs out of blood. A single packet of blood will be
consumed, you will recieve 1 empty blood packet and a message
will appear briefly to notify you that the canteen has been
refilled.

If you run out of blood packs the canteen will not be refilled
until you find some. If you attempt to manually use it you will
be told the canteen is empty. Finally when you bottle blood at
a red blood source your canteen will be replenished alongside
the blood packs.

If you do not have the Hematophage perk automatic usage is
disabled and drinking from your canteen will not replenish your
dehydration.

NOTE 1: The canteen doesn't have its own inventory picture.
This is due to the fact the modders resource did not include it.

Q: Why not allow bottling with things other than empty blood
packets?
A: Because it's unnecessary. Really think about it you need at
most 20 blood packets. Once you have them what are you gonna do
with all the thousands of extras? Besides this way it stops the
bizarre model morphing that occurs. How does that soda bottle
turn into a tiny plastic water bottle?

Q: LOL blood makes you more dehydrated in life.
A: This is a GAME and it's Fallout so please just shut up.
