If you've ever gone traipsing through the Leveled Item section of the GECK, you'll know that New Vegas has some ''curious'' entries for Leveled Item Lists. How about the list marked ''VendorWeaponsEnergyRare'' with only one entry: a Laser Rifle? Or ''BrotherhoodOfSteelWeaponBigGun'', which is empty? I'm also a fan of the repeated references to the Scoped .44 Magnum from Fallout 3, or the Chinese Officer's Sword, both of which still have corresponding lists... EMPTY lists. Those appear in quite a few other lists, particularly those for vendors. Makes you wonder how many cool things you might be missing out on because the game thought it was giving you a sweet Scoped .44 Magnum.

This bugfix alters these lists so that they:

- Match their descriptions: for example, taking common armor like Metal Armor or Hockey Masks out of the ''Rare'' vendor list

- Are level appropriate: the Hunting Rifle isn't a level 1 weapon anymore

- Are not empty/do not contain other lists which are empty: the Scoped .44 Magnum issue is a good example, or ''clutter'' lists which still contain entries for Railway Spikes.

Some of these changes will have obvious effects on the game. For example, Brotherhood of Steel patrols will now occasionally carry ''heavy'' energy weapons like the Gatling Laser. Loot found in some containers will be more varied, particularly weapon loot.

Probably the most noticeable change will be among certain vendors, specifically Quartermaster Bardon and the Great Khan armorer. Both of these vendors use the old-style ''Common''/''Rare'' lists, which prior to this fix were REALLY inconsistent.
