Is downloading through vortex for Epic games NV ok? Having a lil trouble making this work (changed to 44100hz, 16 bit .wav file but maybe its still not working cuz i downloaded through vortex?)

If i were to download manually, anyone know how it would work on Epic Games?

      Finally fixed it lol
I needed to use Freemake Audio Converter and set the songs to the appropriate settings (44100 Hz, 16 bit, .wav, Mono audio), then use LOOT (Load Order Optimization Tool) and click on the "Sort Plugins" button on the top left of the app, and it finally works!
Downloading through vortex did not matter at all!
Edit: Aaaand it doesn't work again. I'm done lol just gonna turn on youtube in the background

I'm having a bit of an issue with playing the audio, the radio station nor the holotapes work.
I did all the steps, converted the files to mono, 44100 hz, 16 bit and to .wav file format, renamed the files and it's just silence.
Maybe Audacity just can't convert it properly?

after uploading all your music files into the ipip folder, let loot reorganize your mod list. The load order of the ipip radio mod should change, and the radio station should work.

are there any modern custom radios? I don't wanna rely on older ones because there's been lots of leaps in FNV modding lately and I'd prefer something that helps do the hard stuff (converting, ect)

It doesn't feel random enough. I have 25 files, and only 8-10 of them play all the time. I've rarely heard it play anything else aside from the 8-10 it always plays. Everything is mono, 705 kbps bit rate, and 16 bit, but the "equation" isn't random enough.

This is strange, this mod worked almost perfectly on my shitty laptop, but it doesn't work on my pc.

You probably did something wrong. Not sure what though.

I've actually done something very similar, and had success with just having Holotapes with the music to them. They played the music, but Game crashed every time I clicked on the selected holotape again as it was playing. Not sure if you've had a similar issue.

Just so everyone knows, when he said "Rename your files so that their names are exactly like this: iPip_Song01.wav"
Don't add the .wav at the end, just make sure the audio file is in the wav file format.

And if you have the loop issue, disable the station, wait and hour(in-game), then play it again. It'll play the looped audio, then play the rest. Pretty sure the issue is related to the script, possibly the wait(audio duration).

I'm guessing AVS didn't flood the entire audio file with watermarks at the time when you were using it. Do you any other converter software I could use ? That would help a lot!

I was having the same issue but it was apparently caused by my converter, the settings must match what Geistertanz
said exactly (44,100 kHz; 16 Bit; Mono .wav) my converter somehow switched to 32 bit and the music wasn't playing, As soon as I matched Geistertanz' settings the music started working. Everyone having this issue should try converting their files again, I use Freemake Audio Converter it's very fast and you can easily specify the settings.
