In-game excuse for why items were stolen from the player is dumb. And Elijah himself admits that he would prefer it for the courier to keep their items and equipment for the job.
I wouldn't have minded a DLC in which your items are taken away and stored until its conclusion if the writers had bothered providing a better reason aside from 'Its got germs on it'.
no the reason is because the madre scans people for "harmful items" such as guns doesnt really make sence for armor. i dont remeber it being because theres germs on your items but hey i could be in the wrong
I just think it's nice to bring the hazmat outfit/cowl from OWB into dead money. to 'blend' in. :) nothing other than that feels fair, like you 'prepared' for the trip.
This mod doesn't affect me as much as others because I use god mode. Before I get called crappishly unlegit, note that's WHY I GOT FOR CONSOLE. See, if I play it on the console version I can still mod, though it is hard and I'd rather not trouble myself with putting them on it, but I don't and I can't use god mode. To me the PC is for god mode and mods, but maybe it is still unlegit.
Right I have played many times on my xbox360 and one, and it is about time i run around like the main character god i am. lol however i only actually use god mode when in situations i need to work around a mod i downloaded and they dont work, just to glitch through them to work around things if i can, then i turn it back off.
Are you even having any fun if you always use god mode? I use it if I get caught in a tough spot, but using it constantly defeats the purpose of playing the game in the first place.
This mod causes a huge bug UIF you have this enabled and you enter the Mccarren prisoner interrogation, after the 2nd time Lieutenant boyle will wak to here office instead of stay at the window afterwards which you can still get the reward but. IF you continue to play the game and fast travel your game will freeze at the loading screen from time to time. HUGE EFFING bug. I confirmed this because after i entered the room with this on i had my weapons and when i disabled this mod i had all my holdout weapons. ( the ones that you can only carry with if you have a high enough sneak)
ffs one of the main reasons I used to avoid this dlc for so long was bc your inventory is wiped when you get gassed. Don't get me wrong I really liked having to use whatever was around to survive... the first couple of times I went through it. After that I just wanted to bring my stuff. Good s#*! man
