This mod broke my game when activated causing extreme lag. I would not recommend to install it. After deactivation everything was fine and the engine running smooth again. I'm not using the Project Nevada mod, btw. Project Nevada can't be the only mod that is incompatible with "More Realistic Aiming".
When I hit shift to sprint from project nevada the whole system wigs out and I slow down and walk while this mod is installed. Is there a compatibility issue or should I be changing some setting?
So, did you just uninstall this mod then? Cause I wouldn't take this mod over PN all day. Unless there is a compatability patch or something. I doubt tho
There are various compatible modules to replace PN. They use the latest modding tools and i have had no problem with those. Even the Cyberware part from PN has been cut from the whole thing and redone for compatibility. It is basically PN, but redone in 2021. Check the site 'Viva New Vegas'.
I can't enable the second part of the mcm menu including -Strength Penalty -Weapon Skill Penalty -Weapon Weight Penalty -Inventory Weight Penalty -Dehydration Penalty -Fatigue Penalty -Hunger Penalty -Radiation Penalty -Sleep Deprivation Penalty
Same issue here. The weird thing is that I remember being able to use those settings some time ago. I'm trying to remember what I did that could have affected this mod, but no results so far.
im getting the same issue, cant enable those second features.
I havent even played new vegas at all or touched any mods for it in over 3 years, just tried to come back. Funnily enough, i can disable the first part of the menu, and once i do, i cannot turn in back on without reset to default. Is it an mcm thing? I dont know any better.
Here's a workaround: https://www.mediafire.com/file/o4bl2cx8svq5bc3/More_Realistic_Aiming.zip/file Just overwrite the esp. I edited the script to enable the Skill Penalty menu in the default settings, so you will need to press the "Default" button and it should enable those settings. Obviously this will reset the mod settings, so take note of them first. I'm no good at scripting so this was the easiest fix I could do. This is based off of mightgloom's fixed files (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61287), so it includes the sleep deprivation fix (I guess).
The workaround posted by elr0y7 worked for me. I was able to gain access to the other part of the advanced settings with the edited plugin, just by hitting default in MCM. Neat!
The aim interface wobble on the screen when aiming in third person, the vanilla aim interface doesn't wobble, only the gun when aiming using the iron sights. (the aim interface is the green or orange aim thing that floats... idk how I should call it, sorry :P) That's what I noticed.
I second this. Not necessarily for this mod, but as a whole.
In response to others who think it is not appreciated or viable for FNV: Having a long-term wrist injury is limiting in regards to mouse-aiming, as it becomes uncomfortable within a short amount of time. Additionally, VATS or Slow-Mo mods allow fun combat, even when aiming with the inferior analog stick.

Edit: This was an issue with PN
Unless there is a compatability patch or something. I doubt tho

-Sleep Deprivation Penalty
Anyone know a solution?

Thank you for answering, made me double check.
pretty sure weapon wobble having a dependency on weight wasnt a thing in vanilla tho
That's what I noticed.
Its kinda sadly modders dont add controller support
