Even though I had some trouble getting this to work with my controller, I eventually got it. And WOW is it worth it. Mods like this and project nevada make this game come alive.
On a good character, particularly a stealthy one, you feel like you and your team(mates) are really infiltrating that raider/fiend hideout and don't have to go in guns blazing or just sneak past and ignore all the opponents around you. Now when you get the jump on an opponent, you have a lot more options, as you realistically would.
I really enjoy enslaving people and taking them to a cliff over cottonwood cove and then shoving them off on my evil guy, though. Fun.
As I did have some problems with installation, I went back and read through all 40 something pages of the topic (I hate asking for help). Only constructive criticism I could give is that the read-me FAQ could use some updates as it seems like their are a lot of little problems that can cause this mod to not quite work perfectly, but their is a good reason for that...
...because the author is constantly updating this mod and solving problems/helping out. Sagittarius, you have my salute. One of the best mods on the website, keep doing what you do.
With the newest update, I love screaming at people. This mod makes the game seems less robotic as NPCs will turn their heads and actually react to things happening around them instead of just continuing along a set path like drones in a hivemind. Great work, 10/10
Great mod here I just love it! I've always liked to play as a good guy who prefers to disarm a foe rather than killing, and this works wonder.
I have one little suggestion though, when infiltrating a building and making all enemy surrender by sneaking up to them, it's a bit silly to go through all of this and see all this people kneeling, even though you're not around anymore or even if an ally of them comes by. So that's why I'd like to see a way to knock people who have surrender unconscious or get back on their feet if an ally of them comes by. That's just my opinion, the mod is already awesome as it is!
Awesome mod, works perfect. I was actually looking for a whistle key in vanilla FNV when I first started playing to lure people into traps, but was rather dissappointed when I figured out there was none. So this mod is just perfect, a perfect fit to make the game more fun.
