So I'm installing this after completing Don't Tread On The Bear, but I still went to talk to Crocker and do one of his quests, before he somehow dissapeared, reason why I wanted to install this mod. Does it respawn Crocker or do I have to load some old ass file to progress?
Got a problem. I went and did "You'll Know When It Happens" for House then killed him. Then I went down the NCR questline (Kind of. It was all done already.) And got to the "You'll Know When It Happens" part for *it.* Now it's broken. Ranger Grant tells me how I got the president out safe and sound, but the marker is still pointing at him, and when I talk to Colonel Moore, there's no option to tell her the president is safe. Now I'm stuck. What do I do?
Holy s#*!, so far it seemed to work. I used this to remedy the Lonesome Road quest 'The Apolocalypse' and chose to nuke the NCR and Caesar's Legion. Once I got the infamy hit, it didn't fail 'Dont Tread on the Bear' and 'Beware the Wrath of Caesar'.
This will only stop those quest from failing so they don't break the quest lines if you're trying to go further into them without picking a side yet. However, infamy will still be applied so you can be vilified by the either faction and be shot on sight when going to their related faction locations. (188 Trading Post, Dam, Caesar's HQ, etc.)
I'm pretty sure those quests don't fail regardless of who you nuke in Lonesome Road. I remember nuking the NCR (just for the Power Armor lol) on Xbox and still completed the NCR ending.
If I have failed, say, Don't Tread on the Bear! by installing Yes Man and completing Side Bets would the mod still work if i were to reset Don't Tread on the Bear! and For The Republic and give them to myself again? EDIT: I'm still on good terms with the NCR, so hostility isn't an issue. I just want to continue where I left off with For The Republic Pt 2 after already establishing relations to the other tribes with Yes Man.
It doesn't seem to work. I mean it delays the quests but after house always wins V, the Omertas, they both activate hard. Something like this should let you go up till You'll Know When It Happens.
only issue is most named quest related NPC's are marked as guards so they will attack you try getting the code for said faction and using the st ally command
Don't even know if the mod author looks at this mod anymore but I just wanted to say thanks for this mod, because I always found it ridiculous that the NRC and legion somehow magically knew I was working for person a or b.
