UPDATE: New version for the recent patch, which fixed the Plasma Defender ammo distribution error. The patch does not address the remaining two issues handled by this bugfix.

If you hadn't noticed, the Plasma Defender is a bit rare. You can find one in the Silver Rush on display, and a few others in other locations, but the absolute maximum number of Plasma Defenders you can find in the game is 10. Yes, 10. That includes vendors, because Plasma Defenders are NOT sold by vendors, period.
Also, while not precisely related, the Plasma Pistol weapon is set up to be distributed with the wrong type of depleted ammo (depleted microfusion instead of depleted energy). It's not particularly vital, but it's still a bug.
This bugfix corrects both of the above issues.
TL;DR:
- Plasma Defender now sold infrequently by the Van Graffs/Silver Rush.
- Plasma Pistol distributed with the correct depleted ammo (Depleted Energy Cells)
