Every time I fire this gun I get a red & white flashing screen. Upon further examination I am getting a flashing white exclamation point outlined in red. What am I missing to remove this from happening? Regardless of how slow I fire it, it continues to happen.
You can either change the ejected shells to a stock one using the GECK or do what everyone else did and download and install the missing mesh update in the files section.
I don't know what is involved in porting this to FO3. Would that be allowed? And is there someone who could / would do it? I already love this weapon in New Vegas -one of my most favourite handguns.
I love it! awesome model, alltough i would have creamed my shorts if it also had the original sound effects from the movie (those blast's have echoed in my mind since childhood)
But i found an alternative, i changed the sound to the WPNPistolHowdahfire and it came pretty close to the real thing (btw which gun uses the howdah sound effect?) i also changed the clip size from 50 to 20 as a standard 93r extended magazine would have because i just cant see 50 big 9mm bullets in that small thing.
overall really good but there is still room for improvement 8/10 and endorsed offcourse
edit: Really would like to see some ironsights to this, might be a perfect 10 after that.
The reason it would hold 50 rounds is due to the gun using 9mm caseless rounds. Robocop was based loosely in the same reality as Aliens, and it was hinted that Robocop's gun was supposed to be in Aliens 2. Seems all the guns being high capacity caseless rounds was frown on, and was never done in the end.
50 rounds is still pushing it for 9mm, and some hint that it actually fired a high velocity .22 or .223 round that was again caseless. That would have allowed for the insanely high amount of rounds with the suggested damage potential. But it is a movie, and had many technologies that we have still yet to make happen.
Love that this did get made finally. Time to load it up and Pew Pew some baddies.
