So I originally hidden the mod because it was originally a conversion of another author's mod back in F3. Credit given and the mod author never voicing against it. After seeing other similar mods of it, I figured it'd do no harm hiding it since it was never my work.
Though after trying those other mods out, I admit the converted mod I posted feels less intrusive and work, for the most part, seamlessly. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind. And others were requesting it back. At this point, I don't think there really isn't any harm. More options are always better, yes?
tl;dr: It's unhidden. Enjoy!
Note: For those struggling to work, you must press the keybind linked to "toggle walk/run: and have it so your character walks rather run. You can safely move with certain animations AFTER they trigger. Holstering or drawing your weapon or even firing will safely cancel it out. Assume other idle animation mods will conflict with each other. I am not a mod author and in no way am qualified to help.
old now and probably no one will see this but, using 360 camera it will lock the camera forward without being able to turn it so you just see the back of the character doing the idles.
My experience so far with this mod. After killing a fucking behemoth and several axe wielding geckos and three ripper ghouls (I have monster wars installed), my character took a quick smoke, before the battle music kicks in suddenly and several NCR rangers came rushing at me (run Endless Warfare and am a Legion supporter). Killed them off with a bolt action shotgun, looted their destroyed corpses, and walked off smoking, her elf ears prickling from the sound of distant gunfire (my courier is a Moonshadow Cannibal Elf).
Immersive as fuck. Love it. Wish I found it sooner.
A man of culture I see. Violence and little girls go so well. Though I'm more of a vodka fan. But we can both agree that slaughtering a hundred people sure lightens a bad day...
A little curiosity: I read that the idles are activated by holding the W key, and it works perfectly. I use walking almost always, it's very rare that I use running. So the question is: if I use automatic feed (by pressing Q), when I stop (by pressing Q again and no one of W, A, S, D keys) do idles start the same? Thanks to anyone who wants to answer
Loved your mod, it is great, i´ve installed animation project and it´s not compatible unfortunately. As a little request, if possible could you upload a patch for them to work together? Both are fantastic!
