Speedy's Resources


//////////Description://////////

This is a modder's resource containing several new building sets, a variety of clutter and other decorations.
There are hundreds of all new models all hand made by me.


//////////Install://////////

Place the SpeedyResources.esm, meshes, textures and sound folders in your Fallout: New Vegas data directory.

Activate the SpeedyResources.esm in the launcher or New Vegas Mod Manager.


//////////Modding Instructions://////////

To use these resources check off the SpeedyResources.esm when you start the GECK.
If you use most of the assets, simply make it a requirement and post a link.
If you only use a few than feel free to upload them with your mod.

Using the Bunker Tube Elevator:

Step 1: Place the elevator shaft and platform in the cell. Set the shaft as persistent reference in its properties.
Step 2: Place some ststic meshes around the area in a box shape*
Step 3: Get SPDElevatorSwitch From The Activators section and place it on the Platform.
Step 4: Set the elevator shaft as linked ref in the switch's properties.
Step 5: Place your doors, they must be at the same hight (the shaft moves not the platform).
Step 6: Test it out!

*You need to place these objects beacuse the game ignores Activators when it decides weather or not the player is still in the level area.
Normally the game calculates a bounding box around all the static objects in the cell, if the player leaves this box the game assumes the player has fallen out of the geometry and moves them back to a door marker. So basically you have to place these static objects to force the game to make this bounding box go around your elevator area.
