There should be a quest mod called Fear and Loathing in New Vegas where you are offered some new pychotic drugs and take them. The quest is starts off with just delivering a note to the NCR compound in New Vegas and along the way due to the drugs you fight off halucinations of raiders, Benny, NCR and Ceasers Legion, find yourself in Gommorah with the women complimenting you on something, and other strange occurances that end when you wake up naked in the fountain outside the Ultralux just wearing a hat and sunglasses. As Hunter said himself " When the going gets weird the wierd turn pro"
NVEC complete has active wasteland included in it. Will this mod work with NVEC Complete or does it actually have Active Wasteland set as one of it's masters?
Also, please tell me there's a combat knife hidden under one of the mattresses, you know like the one "room service" brought up in the movie.
Man, I commend you on your attention to detail - this mod is fantastic, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed it. It's so perfect! I think I just found my new home base. Also, I love you so hard for the teeny tiny storage containers. I'm not even joking, I freaked out when I saw the resized meshes. Can't explain why - just did.
I just typed in fear and I got exactly what I was looking for. Great, great mod. I was thinking to make it even a little more authentic, you could use the NCR trooper helmet and give it a white retouch and acapulco the pre-war spring outfit up so Duke would be alive and well (well, not well) and he'd be all for a savage post apocalyptic journey to the heart of the American dream.
Honestly i was quite surprised that no one had done something along these lines already. That movie is def one of my all time favs.
Will be some more updates coming. Still working out idle animations, and the problem with targeting the custom NPC's in VATS, and I'd like to do a questline as was suggested where you have to track then done following the trail of destroyed rooms. And i am also contemplating throwing in an unmarked quest involving the Bazooko Circus as antagonists
Also I'm open to any and all suggestions so if you have comments please let me know. Working on this project has quickly become a labor of love in addition to being an addiction.
I tracked your mod when you first posted it and noticed the update. Haven't got a chance to try it but I think it's awesome that it's based on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, great movie!
