someone NEEDS to remake/patch this mod back there's just something about spending an entire hour carefully tiding and placing stuff up in your place when you could be tiding and placing stuff in your place in real life that is just right.
also most of us can't afford to decorate with guns irl so this does.
literally the only thing that would need is making up a new clever way to bring it up like grabbing something and then using a hotkey to enter fengshui mode
a way to lock player controls and so we can use the movement keys and mouse instead and a camera that follows the item
Been 10 years since I last modded this game and I was REALLY surprised to find no modern alternative to this mod? How can that be? Anyways the only problem i have with this is that sometimes objects move even when I locked them, could also be a memory float value not being precise enough etc etc but it has only happened with a few items so far. Sure, LOOT reports the header version is extremely outdated, but i personally think that is based.
Otherwise this FO3 port still works great! installed the main file and the keymap fix and it works fine. Great fun using this alongside portable item mods to build small little hideouts across the map!
There are two, one in the main file and one in the update. I finally got it working (mostly) by installing the main file totally manually, per the instructions and then downloading and installing/activating both the main file and the updated esp in MOD.
Such a shame. I adored this mod in Fo3 but I can't get this to load under FNV (yes, I went through the optional files and have the .e ver -- which, honestly, why isn't this repackaged properly?) as TTW flags it as an converted fallout 3 mod -- maybe vanilla FNV is less picky.
Why are there so many additional files? Which ones do we need/not need? Do we need the keymap template or is it optional as it is in the "optional" files section? What a mess, not worth breaking the game over..
What is Feng Shui Action Menu and why does it come up when I press NumPad*? I'm trying to press NumPad* to lock items in place, but all that happens is that this menu comes up. How do I stop this menu from appearing?

EDIT
Hey, I know it's been months since your post, but rename the "Feng Shui NV.esp" file to "Feng Shui.esp", it should work
do you think you could make it work with the mouse and WASD instead by disabling player controls ?

What kind of options do I have if I don't have a numberpad on my keyboard? Its an anne pro.
Could I rebind the controls in the ini or use a controller?
Edit: Nvm I think I managed to make a macro setting to turn the left side of my keyboard into a numberpad
