despite this mod being discontinued for quite a while now I'm currently using it with vortex and it's working perfectly fine, so if you're reading this and don't want to download a bigger mod just for that hud functionality give it a try
The link for installation instructions didn't work, and installing using vortex opens up the independent install screen which requires no other programs open to install, including vortex. Closing vortex also closes the install screen, which makes it all pointless...
So I'm just not gonna install this. I don't see why you couldn't just detail the damn instructions in the description.
"So I'm just not gonna install this." - Wise decision seeing as it's a twelve year old mod that is no longer supported.
"I don't see why you couldn't just detail the damn instructions in the description." - Because it was too complicated back then. HUD mods were notoriously painful to get working with each other back then, and it required a fairly lengthy guide, which I created and linked in the description. Sometime since this mod was discontinued, Nexus changed their site links and the link to the tutorial stopped working.
Gopher I really appreciate you kindly explaining yourself here, but you don't even need to do that because your mod works perfectly fine. Works much better than oHUD in fact and it is much less dirty. Someone being ridiculously rude to you because of their own ignorance is not someone you need explain yourself to
@Alphachocolatetruffle this is YOUR fault for using vortex and not taking 5 seconds to read the mod description
This standalone mod works better than the version that was included in ohud. ohud has weird position/overlapping issues. Use this mod in conjunction with the mod "the hud editor" and you have a full hud solution, no need for ohud.
However, I can't figure out how to enable some of the things you see in the screenshots like the nice smaller font and the full names instead of abbreviations (food, etc). Maybe it was only like that in an older version?
Not supported? Works fine to me with DARNUI , no need for oHud. I have PN with oHud, aHud, DarnUI, Unified HUD Project, F76 HUD (my private mod), there is no conflicts. You can use it.
I used Ohud for a long time, but on this re-installation of FNV I just couldn't get it to work. I know the author said this is not supported anymore ....but it works perfectly. Don't hesitate.
Four years into the future and this advice still holds, especially if you're using Vanilla UI Plus.
oHUD tends to somehow omit this mod, even when installed on the HUDs it was specified for, DarnUI in my most recent case. Except that nowadays DarnUI is hard to find, other UIs have been made more recently, and oHUD doesn't quite fit nicely with them. This mod, by itself, however, still works like a charm.
Thanks for the heads-up, Dwyzl. You da best. You da you da best <3
Ha.. Nutrition probably wasn't the right word to go for because replenishing my NUT is only going to make me chuckle. Maybe EAT, but this mod is long dead, oh well.
