Im trying this mod and its amazing. Never a fan of other camera mods, they look good but there was always something missing or just to much. Thank you! Just one thing, someone can tell me a way to change the hotkey for Toggle sides addon? Please
I'd like to make a few minor adjustments, however, being script based its a bit more confusing to figure out what values to modify. Can you add a menu for minor adjustments?
or... Can someone tell me which lines and variables of the script to alter to increase the offset and camera height? That'd be greatly appreciated =)
Also, here's a suggestion for an interesting idea. While aiming in 3rd person, have a script change the chasecam distance to 40 or whatever, and then when not aiming revert the chasecam to the previous distance
This mod is awesome, and makes 3D much more playable! but im afraid i may have a rather stupid question. How do i see the front of my character like the video?
Just uploaded a new version (1.3), which when used with the optional addon Toggle Sides for ROTS will make it so the 'c' key toggles between left and right sides.
Since it's easier to see from the left, I've made the camera less off-centered when on that side.
@woodbyte You should probably PM it to me as I have barely any programming experience. I usually occupy myself in 3D Modeling. I understand the need of time. (BTW do not use shift for the hotkey. that is replaced by the popular Sprint Mod. It should be a letter key and close to the WASD keys.)
I think you mean Q and E. But I was thinking more of a toggle key to make it simpler.
EDIT: Also, Q/E are already assigned by the game.
@lolzinator42: There isn't much to say about making a camera view mod. This one is a couple of game settings changed plus a script for the dynamic aspects, and if you have any background on programming my script should be clear to you and you can use it as reference. If not, I'll pm you with an explanation of it line-by-line, but not right away.
I play with WASD keys and the best hotkeys would be Q and A for fast access (for me at least). Thanks for replying. I'm looking forward for that. As for the hotkeys try looking at FOOK scripts if they are any help.
@woodbyte You should probably bind it to C or V. In any case, though, this is a great mod. before I only used 3rd person for looking at my character. Now, my habit of switching to 1st person when an enemy appears is gone. You have let me play the game in 3rd person. (BTW, could you maybe send me a tutorial or something on how to make a camera view mod? I tired the Nexus and Bethesda forums but I got no help there.)
