This is a temporary mod. When I plugged it and came to in Atomic Wrangler, cashier changed my whole currency of the NCR and the Legion to casino chips (btw silently - Uncle might add a standard remark voiced "Here are your chips"). But the chips for money, he has not changed me, says, "Here's your caps," but the caps has not added to the inventory. So I made a save, quit out of the game, disabled this mod, and wrangler's cashier has normally changed chips to caps. Russian Steam Version 1.4.0.525 Endorsed. Definitely. They did a poor job of making these currencies useful. There was absolutely no reason to just not give away all of the NCR Script or Legion Denarius (except for coin shot, but I never used that) for more bottlecaps.
PSPSoldier534: Thanks for the endorsement and the feedback. As I mentioned in response to your comment on my AmmoSmith mod, I'm currently working on a major revamp for this mod with tweaks that will add even more meaning to alternate currencies.
In addition, I have several other optional add-ons (like AmmoSmith) in the works. As a glimpse of the future... - MilitaryTrainer (beta version being reworked) - MedicineMan (about 75% complete) - Librarian (about 20% complete) - CampCook (in late outline stage) - Quartermaster (in late outline stage)
I have a few others in the concept stage as well. All told my hope is to make alternate currencies actually feel like there is a reason to care about them, as well as add a few extra interesting NPCs to interact with.
In this case it means, "It took me too long to post CurrencyExchangeRates, and I need to go get thanksgiving dinner in the oven for my girlfriend and I".
But now that dinner is over, AmmoSmith is up and ready for download...
