I had this installed in a 50 hrs save. No issues at all. Though only downside is that starvation is so slow that its almost an afterthought.

Has anyone found a fix for the game crashing on waiting/sleeping?

I've tried to dive deep into what's making it crash; I've tried installing the other optional timescales, disabling every other mod except this one, using a mod 2 different mod managers; both where I tried that the only mod I've got installed is this mod, I have even tried reinstalling new vegas all over and manually installing this mod without the use of mod manager. If anyone's got a clue as to how to find what the f*#@'s the problem, all of us would probably love to hear it.

Is it possible to combine two *.esp into one file to save space in the plugins list - "DynamicTimeScale.esp" and "DTSOptionalTimeScales_01011111.esp" for something like "Realistic Timescale 1:1"?

As a note for anyone using this, whenever a script triggers a change in gamehour with this mod installed, it will tend to crash the game.  If you are having consistent start game crashes or crashes when you go to the doc to change out rex's brain, try disabling this mod in vortex, getting the thing done, then re-enabling it.

Looking at the mod, the only thing it'll leave behind in a savefile is specifically named globals.  It isn't replacing default scripting and the globals that might become an issue are set to specific defaults that won't break things.  So this mod looks solid and pretty safe IMO.

Do note when this occurs, if you have cob crash logger installed, you will recieve a "C0000005" exception catch.  Just let the crashed game run for awhile until it terminates on its own.  You may have to do that a few times to sus out the error.

I had posted this as an issue on NVHR's Nexus Bug Page with a detailed set of troubleshooting instructions of how I troubleshot my issue.  In short it appears that climates tend to triger around gamehour 20 or 8PM, and when they change on interiors with a lot of stuff going on when the timescale is not set to the default of 20, the game will crash.  By default when a new game is created after the character creation process, gamehour is changed and breaks the game.

Check here since it doesn't appear I can directly link:

"NVHR - Scrap Heap Block out of memory!" error and crash when set gamehour [number] in console.

It would be great if we could configure the options rather than genially download all those optional files that I have no idea how to use it.
Or maybe you're too lazy to explain all those to me. Who knows

I've had a consistent crash at Hover Dam when going to talk to the ranger about the NCR Presidential visit. With this mod installed, when I tell him I'm ready and the screen goes bank and the game advances the time, the game hangs. With the mod deactivated, it works fine.

Having yet to play with it installed, I am endorsing this mod based entirely on the mere idea of a dynamic timescale.

Edit: Very good. However, when starting a new game, this modifier causes an error and the game closes. I need to enable this modifier after leaving Dr. Mitchel's house to avoid the issue.
