Here's a head's up for anyone that reads this. By the end of this week, I'll be publishing the 1.3 update. I decided to skip the update before it, 'cause it's not large enough to warrant an updated .esp.
Hey, i ran into a problem that this mod somehow doesn't work with GRA ammo i.e. I cannot load any GRA plasm/impulse 40 mm ammo in both my grenade rifles. Changing normal ammo(normal/inc) is perfectly possible, but iI can't chande to GRA ammo without turning this mod off
Here's an advance apology for everyone that had to wait. I ran into a bunch of stuff IRL that prevented me from finishing up the next version, but now I'm kinda free, so expect it up in the next few days.
Yeah, I've been thinking about implementing them for v1.3, which introduces timed grenade ammunition.
But, I'm just gonna keep working on the updates slowly. I want to make sure that nothing goes wrong with the conversions and whatnot.
And let me give everyone a little teaser: I have something very special planned for v2.0, especially if you tend to alternate between Explosives and one of the other gun categories.
In either case, I changed the abbreviated version as well. It should be about six, maybe 7 letters long now.
Edit: Turns out that doesn't help. From what I've seen, it only turns up for 2 or so letters.
I think I'll abbreviate it along the pattern I've been using to name the files. After all, you're only gonna be using that ammo type with that weapon, so a specific letter should indicate the variant.

As for the HUD stuff, I'm sorry. I can't help you there. I'm terrible at designing GUI/HUD stuff.
