Hi, Thank you for the link, it's great, and a very good idea too also, thank you for the feedback, I like the idea of having different skins of monsters, that would be a cool option; my reskinning experience is a little thin on the ground at the moment, but it's something that I would like to try in the future I'm taking a little break from modding at the moment, but when I get back to it, I'd love to add the features you suggested. Kudos to you for the hand
I don't know if you have any experience with reskinning, but I was thinking it would be cool if you could use the various animal hides to craft different variants of the leather armors, like golden leather armor or reinforced fire gecko leather armor, etc.
Also, I have a power armor mod that lets you disassemble and reassemble power armor, among other things. I worked out a way to make the condition of the power armor that you craft be dependent upon your science and repair skill. If that sounds like a feature you'd want to add, here's the mod:
Basically, what happens is the recipe crafts a dummy item rather than the armor itself. A script then checks to see if the player has the dummy item in their inventory, and if they do, it removes the dummy item and replaces it with the armor at the appropriate condition, using additemhealthpercent.
it seems a bit easy to craft some of the better armors =/ a little to easy to make combat armor anyhow and to easy to reinforce... mabye just sliiiiiightly over powered?
There are quite a few things I would like to add in the future, but I need to either find someone who can do 3D modelling, or get better myself thank you for the suggestion though, I would like to improve on some of the armors, for sure
You're welcome, I'm pleased you like it I will be doing more in the future, so hopefully by the time I'm finished, there will be lots of usage for wasteland junk!
