So if I'm reading this all correctly, this will make it so that in Hardcore mode the ONLY way to fix your limbs will be by using a Doctor's Bag or paying a Doctor... correct? If so... definitely downloading. Thanks!!
Could someone please explain the reasoning behind why sleeping in an owned bed is different from in a non-owned bed with regard to healing? Is it for the abstraction of having proper possessions to aid healing where you own a bed?
First time I saw this fix I thinked "what a bunch of bollocks, there's no sleep healing in hardcore". Then after a huge battle against some legionaries in Boone's quest I used all my Doctor's Bag, but didn't fully recovered my members.
So I came to my house on Novac, slept and the first thing I planned after wake up was to seek a doctor and buy more bags. Imagine my surprise when I looked up my peep-boy and saw my members fully healed!
Oh yes, it was nice, because I didn't had much money, but this breaked the immersion heavelly. Curious enough, this type of fix don't have much endorsements, but this is how the game should work, the excploit is the breaked version.
Oh I see now. I have slept in Novac when I owned the bed but I was testing it in a random bed at Goodsprings. Ok that makes sense now. thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the permission to use the bug fix, but unless the nexus changes its policy with regards bug fixes then it's unlikely I will release a bug fix compilation again.
