It introduced three major issues to my game: A permanent occasional blur, audio bugs that broke dialogue and the radio, and this creepy glitch where the ground would turn black before crashing my game and corrupting my latest save. Yes, I had the master file. Uninstalling this mod only resolved the latter two glitches. Do not install under ANY circumstances.
I really like the mod, very well done, probably one, if not the best quest mod I've played. I really appreciate the time, effort and care that was put into making this mod - I know there was a lot of thought that was put into this mod, I really appreciate it.
Great balance of straight action and storyline, it wasn't too heavy, it was just right. consistent with the lore, hardly any issues, I really like the western feel to the game, being a western genre fan myself :) kinda hoped there were more western cliche that were put into the game, where's the swinging tavern doors?? lol
personally, I enjoyed this more than the official DLCs
the only consistent issue I found was, if I reload a scene, it wouldn't work - the script did not refresh (sorry, I don't know the proper term for it) - so I had to restart the game - not a huge issue, and there was a solution (restarting the game).
I also made a sketch and animation of it, and a little mini review,
I downloaded this and the 2 and 3rd mod in this series, but immediately got the quest for the 3rd mod (city of woes). I then turned off the 3rd and 2nd one, and launched the game, and still wont get the 1st quest. How do I get the quest?
In the 2nd bounty, i was supposed to find an ash pile with a holotape in it at the ambushed caravan, However, When I got there, there were only some mutilated body parts and no ash piles and now I can't continue the quest,
Bounties 3 loads in immediately because it is standalone to the core ESM file. I would recommend disabling NVB3 until you finish NVB2 or wait for all of the remasters to release although it's gonna be a while for the latter lmao.
Oddly it's 1 & 2 that are conflicting while 1 & 3 load in. So should I only load one at a time? Looks like a weapon texture file for the Remington 1858 is creating the conflict lol
What I did was enable them one by one as I was going through the series. I didn't have all mods running concurrently until I started Better Angels. Also depending on how many mods you’re using the series is prone bugs and occasional crashes but idk about texture mods.
This is my review so beware there will be some spoilers (I'll try to keep it to a minimal).
Let me preface my review by saying SomeGuy2000 is one of the best FNV mod makers out there and at the end of the day this is some DLC size free content. I think it's worth installing and playing on the same level as any of the studio DLC's.
The introduction of Marko and hearing about this Boogeyman figure is top notch writing for a mod. The mod is challenging even if you have an OP modded character and playing on the easiest of settings. It scales appropriately to however tough you're.
I also love how you have multiple ways to solve problems and different encounters will happen based on what you have done in the game so far.
I have to give this mod a solid 8.5/10. I would recommend downloading the whole series.
