Yep, the holotape and the note it contained was eaten by my follower, and I quick saved after the brutal fight with the local fiend camp. Last hard save was over an hour old, in my book that is a no go for something I can solve with the console - so here it is. First, find the load order position for the NVBI mod in your mod manager, or using FNVEdit - you'll need it to properly reference the questID. The following command will step forward the quest as if you had picked up and listened to the now non-existant holotape:
