Well the invisibility problem is definitely caused by both Anti-Aliasing and Transparency Multisampling being disabled. Anti-Aliasing needs a value of 2 or higher (iMultiSample=2, iMultiSample=4, iMultiSample=8, or iMultiSample=16) and Transparency Multisampling needs to be enabled (bTransparencyMultisampling=1). If both values are set to 0, the invisibility problem reveals itself, when someone is turned to ash/goo with an energy weapon.
And before anybody thinks they're being funny by saying it, Anti-Aliasing would be disabled in some setups, not because of weak hardware, but instead because of a graphical bug that causes white squares to flash on the screen. The only solution to the bug is to disable Anti-Aliasing. So that's why.

That is extremely true. It stops just as the body turns invisible, making it very difficult to loot the corpse.
It's a shame, too. I really liked the idea of this mod. It fixed the issue of ash piles being everywhere, and it also circumvents the bug that prevents me from looting ash piles (which appears to be a problem only I am experiencing -.-).
Is it possible to stop the disintegration animation sooner, so I can still find the bodies? Maybe set it up so bodies will look the way they do in the screenshots?
this is so awesome!! now I can use laser weapons without having to worry about if NPC's will respawn or not or ash piles staying in my game forever! your awesome!^-^
I guess there's no harm in people seeing the formatting test before that mod is released. The mod is nearly complete and should be out today or, more likely, tomorrow.
