Simply put, it do some of the thing it promised but also some of the thing it didn't mentioned. Specifically, the un-mentioned one are all undesirable caused by the incompetence of this mod creator. Consider the following: -25000% rad resistant which mean dirty water add 2000+rad/sec = instant death, 0 Endurance stat ad Charisma. Prevent you from waiting or sleeping cause "You can't wait while receiving health damage", possibly more but I'm not waiting around to find out
All of these flaws can be fixed by a simple edit with FNVEditor if you're determined. But at that point, why not just create your own mod that's actually functional? Auto Doc implant can't be brought btw. Anyway, steer clear, it's not worth the trouble
Promising, but still needs a lil' more work, Diversify and simplify.
Much of this has been affected by PN, already so that's where creativity comes in, but you have that, So now we just need to see where you can take it.
I like what you did, though some of these seem either redundant, or unnecessary, As i mentioned above, Simplification could be useful, While implants tend to be end game type deals, it still should at least be useful for those of us who manage to acquire them mid/early game, and not seem like a waste of money of something we could done earlier with a few level ups.
Things like the water breathing/Night eye That's good(though being a robot makes it a tad useless XD but that's an issue on my end.)
Why not add implants that affect you like increasing run speed, or jump height?
What about immunity to poison? or maybe sort of force field?
If you really want something out there though what about a ground pound type thing? or a pseudo magnetic ability that allows you to like take weapons from your enemies kinda like magneto.
I understand that by themselves the implants are OP, but the nerfs to the implants make it way to unbalanced, and not in the OP way. I kinda agree with the people below. It would be cooler to just add implants that have the special effects like waterbreathing and auto-heal, rather than adding all of these traits that aren't even that necissarry. You're paying a metric ass-ton of caps at the New Vegas Clinic, so it's really not necissary for there to be any nerfs since these things are hard to obtain without typing something along the lines of "`player.additem f 999999999999999999999" (which I totally don't do, because that would be cheating... Stop looking at me like that).
I'm back. For some reason the mod doesn't actually work on my game. Maybe it has something to do with the load order, but the implant options just didn't show up.
They mess with your stats. For some reason I had my Rad Resist severed exponentially after consuming irradiated items. To the point where I had - 485% or something and I drank a 2RAD water and I got severe radiation poisoning. Also this made me had -4 in Charisma because the MAD DOG implant. Weird stuff. You need to improve these things, as Kam said just below me, these are implants not traits. Maybe add just one effect to each, and then you would have more implants but in working condition. And review the issues with the stats. Thanks
These sound alright, but these are implants we're buying, not traits. To be honest, most of these are redundant if you just level up, however, some have the potential to be very effective, such as upping your carry limit, adding water breathing, adding poison resistance, ect. Skill ups? Tbh, with all the stuff out there, upping your skills by 5 or 10 really isn't that big a thing unless this is your only mod, which is doubtful. Try thinking of other effects, such as making a copy of the automatic Turbo implant from OWB that lets you have 5 free Turbos a day that are nonaddictive (10 if you get rank 2).
The authur's main repeated error is that he used the "Damagestat" command instead of "Reducestat".
I'm not sure if it's ok to upload someone else's corrected mod. Anyhow, it's really easy to fix. I've got zero experience programming and modding and still managed to get it right after a couple of minutes fiddling with it.
