like i said before all i did was change the stats and the Gauss Rifle shot 5 MF Cell so i change it to shot one and hold 1 just like fallout 3 so kinda not lame
dude no offence but when i raided the brother hood of steel i looted several gauss rifle's so u basically picket a random weapon out of the game call it your own mod kina lame.
Well in Fallout 3 they looked identical; I think the point is that the stats are changed. In fallout 3 a laser rifle did 23 damage and in new vegas it only does 15, but of course the damage for all weapons is different and the armour system is different.
The fact is that 15 damage for a laser rifle is pathetically weak though, it's the same as a 9mm pistol. And a Service rifle does 20 damage per shot. So boosting it up to Fallout 3 level of 23 damage isn't unreasonable, if the rate of fire is lowered to Fallout 3's 2 shots per second.
