There's a gap between the Medicine check that kills(25 and below), and the medicine check that warns(35-65) If your Medicine skill is 26-34 it will do nothing
Thanks for this mod! However I want to point out that errors show up in FNVEdit 3.1.2 when checking this plugin for errors: [00:00] Checking for Errors in [01] Mercy Killing Karma v2.0.esp [00:00] [INFO:010019CB] ('Help' in GRUP Topic Children of AlertIdle "AlertIdle" [DIAL:00000104] for NULL - Null Reference [00000000]) [00:00] INFO \ QSTI - Quest -> Found a NULL reference, expected: QUST [00:00] [INFO:010019C9] ('help' in GRUP Topic Children of testDUPLICATE000 "test" [DIAL:010019C7] for NULL - Null Reference [00000000]) [00:00] INFO \ QSTI - Quest -> Found a NULL reference, expected: QUST [00:00] All Done!
The "test" one is probably safe to ignore, but the AlertIdle one is used for various generic NPCs outside of the crucifixion ones, so that could potentially cause problems.
If the option "NMM" is there then you can just click that and then "Launch Application" (and the answer to your question is you download the one that you need normally the mod updated)
You've got something incorrect. The legion doesn't use impalement crucifixion, they are just tied to the crosses. However, the way they're positioned on the cross makes for a slow and agonizing death, by asphyxiation from the stretched arms holding the entire body weight.
@FlyingHigh10000000: Exactly what andibadboy said, the entire point of the mercy kill quest on Nelson is to *avoid* the suffering of the soldiers, who had only been crucified recently.
Keep in mind the method of crucification used on Christ(and the most well known one) was a particularly painful one used on the most hated criminals only, now not saying Christ was a criminal, but the Roman empire deemed him as such, and while it is indeed much more painful, it is considered more merciful as the victim dies faster, the method used by the Legion was a much more common in the Roman empire days, and it would take several days extended exposure to intense sun, dehydratation and starvation before death, in other words, the Legion are f***ing evil for choosing this form of punishment for their enemies, if it wasn't obvious enough.
