LOL! ya a little slow that post was last year nobody is going to finish this mod
I just made a mod that will help you complete this quest even if the powder gangers hate you! Even if you killed dozens of them you can use my mod to fix it.
well it was technically finished in what I had originally set out to do...which was get rid of the bugged radio message for certain endings, as well as let you start the quest half-way through by going though the Primm quests first...I just never got all my extra bits done. So yeah...It's practically dead now.
I swear, I'm going to finish this...I started playing New Vegas again and this part of the game still bugs me. Though all of the little half-assed fixes in this need to be cleaned up...as well as the extra stuff moved out (I've got Camp McCarran fixes in this...and that's not even tangentially related)
Thanks for the mod, first off. Second, I would suggest taking the now patched part out of the mod to eliminate any potential problems. Third, if you follow through on those planned changes, make it separate from the plain fix. So you would have one file with the simple game ending fix, and one for the extra in-game content. Again, thanks for the mod.
yeah, sorry...forgot about this. Bethesda actually fixed it themselves...so there isn't really any need for this anymore unless you liked my extra fiddly bits. I still haven't gotten any new stuff ready for a releasable version though...got hijacked by other games...mostly Dwarf Fortress
This was (maybe) fixed in patch 1.4.0.525: "Mr. New Vegas will only mention failed NCR attack on Powder Gangers if Troopers are dead and Eddie is alive."
