Jimbo's Bunker Hideout Version NV1.02 Languages: English(En) by Lars "WarLord" K.
Jimbo's Bunker is a lovely hideout under the wasteland, well equipped with all kind of useful stuff. The appearance of this hideout reflects the original game and level design. You will find a fireplace, a workbench and a reloadingbench. The bunker is fully accessible by your companions, it has a working navmesh and is not a work-in-progress!
!NEW! For players who prefer to live in Goodsprings or Freeside, there are now two additional locations for entering the bunker! The two alternatives are fully compatible with your savegames from a previous version of Jimbo's Bunker! You just need to relocate the new entry.
How to find and enter the bunker (Wasteland, original location):
The entrance is located in a small valley south of the Nopah Cave. It can be best found by traveling from Bonnie Springs northwards on the road. When standing in front of the big stone marker that leads you to the Red Rock Canyon westwards, move eastwards into the small valley aside the road. Look out for Jimbos dead corpse near a flat rock, just beside (east) the road. Here you can find the ID-Holodisk that will give you access to the bunker.
You need a lockpicking skill of 50 (average) if you want to enter the bunker. This will prevent the player from getting access too early to the bunker. Otherwise the player would become too powerfull just at the beginning of the game, because of the mighty weapons and armor stored in the bunker.
How to find and enter the bunker (Goodsprings):
The entrance can be found west of Doc Mitchell's House. The ID-Holodisk for entering the bunker remains at the original location north of Bonnie Springs if you haven't picked it up before. (See wasteland description above!)
How to find and enter the bunker (Freeside):
The entrance is in a collapsed building east of The Strip North Gate. When entering Freeside from the north, take the second road east. The ID-Holodisk for entering the bunker remains at the original location north of Bonnie Springs if you haven't picked it up before. (See wasteland description above!)
