Would be nice if there were actual new effects to the perk like an Adrenalin rush which makes you run faster or the ability to terrify eyewitnesses making them flee as stated by Cannibal Johnson. Even causing hostile npcs to miss more being scared out of their mind! Even some dialogue change effects would be interesting like causing companions to quit supporting you like in the bad karma default dialogue lol
This mod is conflicting with 'No negative Karma for cannibalism' (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48372/?)
I don't want to lose karma for surviving, and I don't want to gain karma for killing 'bad things'. the mod above does both, but it conflicts with your mod overwriting the cannibal perk I tried writing a merge patch, but it didn't work. can you do anything about it?
I uninstalled this because it added +6 strength and det every time id make a recipe and that ruined the immersion for me, now i cant eat people or take their flesh, its like it completely removed the perk.
OK can you add a new cannibal mod, except this one is aimed at eating Skeletons, it would give nothing in return and you would lose karma, BUT after you eat like 100 of them, you would get a perk that would make your own bones 50% resistance to breaking.
And it would need a sound of crunching for the bones.
I just started a new game with this. I was given Cannibal option as a trait at the start. I did not take it cause I thought I cold take it as a perk latter. When I hit level 2 I did not see it on the perk list. Do you have to take it from the start now? Is it a conflict with the more traits mod I'm using? A full readme would really help.
So i guess it's useless to me since I've already started a game and already hit lvl 10. I wish it was in the description to begin with, good thing I've read posts.
Rather than alter the cannibal trait, this mod completely removed it, I couldn't get it at the start nor was it in the perks list as I leveled up. The recipes was still there though... I couldn't even add the perk through console command, it told me unknown blah sh*t I'm sure this would be a great mod if I was actually able to get the perk. But since I can't I won't endorse. Good job anyways, and I like the recipes
